Speaking clearly & with fluidity is made easier when our arms & hands are free to move. This is because the neural circuits that link sound & control of the muscles for speech also control the hands. Try speaking while holding your hands clenched & completely still. You’ll see.
Make no mistake, what comes after a difficult conversation can be even more challenging. However, the fruits of being courageous and open are definitely rewarding.
I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for all the students/clients I have met. All those meaningful conversations I have every single day are soooo precious to me. I'm so lucky!

Your ability to speak clearly is enhanced by reading (not listening) to books and by writing and journaling in complete sentences. Texting, voice dictation and audio books are wonderful but degrade articulation. Conversely, structured writing aids structured speech.
