Perks up!! Mmm pie…

Geez..

Glancing to her a moment he offers her hand a gentle squeeze, smiling faintly. “Yeah.” Two rounded up little ones later and the family was off!

“Not every detail, just..y’know, that it was my home..”

I can’t say I hate this day..its not even really a sad day, not for us. Without that conviction, we wouldn’t be where we are now..you never move forward if all you do is look back. So keep moving forward. No matter what it takes.

“To a point..” He’d stood scowling out the window, arms crossed as his gaze looked through the hills and down the familiar path to the ruins that lay out of sight. “They don’t need all the details, but..”

“Today..” Edward hums. “…we should tell them.”

“OH C’MON, ITS NOT GUNNA GET UP AND WALK AWAY.”

“I can’t say you’re wrong about that..” Ah geez..sad people are definitely not his forté— “…As long as you’re willing to put in the extra effort there’s no reason you can’t do anything you want. Its not easy, but if you think its worth it then just go for it.”

“You’re young is what you are.” Arms folding across his chest Edward fixed Wrath with a firm stare. “You’ve got time to learn all of this stuff. Homunculus or not, you guys can still learn a thing or two about yourselves. You’re not beyond that just because you’re not human.”

Lightly flicks the boy’s forehead with a faint scowl. “I worry just the right amount!” He doesn’t. Wrath was right, but like hell was Edward about to admit that.

“‘m fine.” With the corner of his lips lifting Edward ruffles the boy’s hair. “You worry too much.”

𝑺𝒊𝒊𝒊𝒊𝒈𝒉… “Yeah, sure. It’s you.”
