not everyone can pull this off, I certainly could't have and almost got grifted by another chud production team I won't name here.
I'm grateful to have talented, smart, and most importantly loyal friends who came thru last second. none of it happens without them
huge s/o to our sponsors @razoreth @trycodex @itsgleninnit @krakenfx for trusting the vision on a 48 hr lead time 😅

main conference has never been alpha, never will be. it's a moot point and restating this every year is pointless
but credit where due: KBW and token2049 brands were both beautifully designed this year

🔥 LONGITUDE: PayPal can execute $1 billion in intercompany dividend payments in just two hours using stablecoins, says @PayPal's Steve Everett.
He compared that with traditional processes that can take 6 to 10 business days.

Proud to share that Bastion has been selected as one of Samsung Wallet's stablecoin partners, providing regulated infrastructure, custody, and cross-border remittances across 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices.
It's an incredible milestone for Bastion, and the entire industry.
Starting the last week of October, eligible Galaxy users will be able to hold and send stablecoins directly in Samsung Wallet, without installing a separate crypto app or managing private keys.
We keep the ledger for each user's balance, verify and screen each user, and monitor transactions for fraud, money laundering, and sanctions exposure. Users can also send money from Samsung Wallet to bank accounts in more than 60 countries, delivered in local currency through our network of local regulated partners.
The crypto industry has spent years talking about reaching the mainstream, and this is what it looks like. Most Galaxy users will never think about custody, compliance, blockchains, or remittance rails, and that's exactly the point. We built Bastion to handle that complexity so the experience feels simple and safe.
Thank you to the Samsung Wallet team for their trust, and to the Bastion team who made this happen.

2026 has been a weird, sideways year for crypto. You would never know it from the self-celebratory BS on X. Self-celebration is a waste of time. It works for influencers, it doesn't work for building anything.
Crypto has gone a long way since the last cycle. Crypto is already changing the world, more than our wildest dreams in some areas. But its most ambitious ideas in distributed consensus are still looking for PMF. Permissionless, immutable infrastructure struggles to find grip in its purest form. AI has made every risk bigger. And venture money keeps chasing the next shiny thing, with its usual high-school crush on the-next-'special'-founder-who-will-change-the-world-in-a-day. That shiny thing is now AI-everything.
All of this reminded me what it means to be a founder and to build companies. Many of you are fellow founders. Others are founder glorifiers, or founder haters. Founding a company is awful. It hurts, it beats up your ego and tests your conviction. It is the loneliest job in the world: you have no peers, everybody envies you and nobody actually wants the job. You are the repository of the worst shit in the company. But founding a company is amazing. You shape the world with your ideas. Giving the middle finger to the status quo is the ultimate superpower in life.
So here is the reminder I keep on my mirror, for me and for whoever needs it. I hope it's useful:
(1) Excellence is the ability to endure pain - If you have not proven you can endure it, your ability to build great things exists only in your head. Train.
(2) Consensus is usually vanity, not care for others. Truth is uncomfortable, and we owe it to others and to ourselves. Not everyone will love it. Fine.
(3) Work-life balance is an illusion - Meaningful work bleeds into private life, and separating the two is artificial and unproductive. Work hard, rest hard.
(4) Information should be shared - Always. Hierarchies are useful, and they still try to kill every company with politics. Whip politics into submission.
(5) Leading is teaching - A business, like any social endeavor, must be permeated by its leaders' view of the world.
If X is a lever to spread a vision and enact change, let's use it. If it is vanity for vanity's sake, our time is better spent elsewhere. Let's build.
What's on your mirror?

Tokenized equities just crossed 1% of stablecoin supply.
I expect this ratio to grow massively from here.
Even if stablecoin supply compounds at 40%+ annually, I think tokenized equities could surpass stablecoins in onchain supply within the next three years.
A lot of the stack will benefit from tokenization, and there will be many winners. But one thing seems increasingly clear: stablecoins will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of tokenized assets.

Morgan Stanley’s new Digital Asset Lab is another sign of how serious the firm is about bringing finance onchain.
They’re exploring stablecoins, tokenized deposits, money-market funds and DeFi vaults, and I don’t expect them to slow down.
The goal isn’t tokenization for tokenization’s sake. It’s rebuilding financial markets from the ground up.
As Amy Oldenburg, Head of Digital Asset Strategy at Morgan Stanley, told me:
“Tokenization isn’t the goal.”

Very interesting point that brings us back to one core theme in stablecoin-land we have all been struggling with lately: logical extension fallacy.
While stablecoins have confirmed themselves as The Settlement Layer for offshore/ global/ fringe financial use cases, their adoption in the core financial markets is still entirely to be proven. Yes might happen, but it might take a huge amount of time for the old to die out.
This is not new: while the improvements of a digitally-native substrate is unquestionable, the untangling cost from legacy finance is non negligible and things work kind of ok already in those places.
If we consider "agentic financial actors" as another frontier of finance, the same applies: while it might well be the case that non-human actors might prefer more advanced forms of money for novel and uncovered use cases, it is a logical fallacy that they will prefer it for anything simply because the agents (and not the markets they operate in) are more technologically savvy.
Meta's @Muse's recent BD deals should cause stablecoin bulls to reflect on the stablecoin x agent narrative.
For those who haven't been following, Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. It's free for now, and one of the business models they seem to be eyeing is e-commerce: if you ask for a product and Muse links you to it, Meta will take a small cut of the transaction from the merchant.
For context, a big part of the agentic commerce narrative around stablecoins is that stablecoins become the base asset for agentic commerce. They are internet-native and inherently programmable, so agents will want to use them.
But the evidence so far is that Muse is partnering with @PayPal, @Shopify , etc. That seems to indicate traditional credit card rails, fintech players and e-commerce platforms have sufficient technology to deal with agents at the moment. Granted, the rumor mill does say some stablecoin players are in the mix, but for all intents and purposes the existing rails work for this use case.
This forces people to re-underwrite the narrative around stablecoins being the new substrate for agentic commerce. One way to deal with that is that maybe stablecoins do get used for agentic commerce, but not when you are buying physical goods. Cards have real advantages there, namely chargebacks and dispute resolution when an order goes wrong. Stablecoins might instead be used for machine to machine transactions and micropayments where card rails are insufficient. There has been a lot written on this.
Nonetheless I think it is worth reflecting on. When people talk about agentic payments using stablecoins, what exactly are they talking about, and why is it better than the traditional system? It is something we are thinking about. Curious how other people are reading the news here.

Stable assets are only as strong as the infrastructure behind them.
That’s why DAWN has built our stablecoin, USD.infra, on @M0’s on-chain developer solutions. This enables scalable issuance and redemption from day one.
USD.infra is a digital infra dollar, and it is building the network it settles on. It is the layer that makes everything else possible.
