Two years ago today, Sycamore earned its first-ever trip to the 3A state tournament. It was a remarkable run, 36 wins, just 6 losses, and the only playoff defeat came against Nazareth. The attached videos will help relive the epic vibe that we all felt that spring. Let’s talk winning for a second... That Sycamore team wasn’t built on hype, it was built on work. Sacrifices going back years, the weight room-when maybe they didn't feel it, every extra inning, every late-night study session, they conquered it. They didn’t just chase wins, they earned them. Now, many of those same players are looking for their next opportunity in college. If you’re a coach looking for players who truly know how to compete and lead, DO NOT overlook these athletes. I’ve watched them for years, they’ve earned everything through hard work and grit. These are the kinds of players who raise the standard the moment they step into your program. All these dudes below stepped up when the going got tough and brought that sweet IHSA trophy home to Sycamore. @SycoBaseball @SycoSpartans Owen Piazza (RHP) - @OwenPiazza Jimmy Amptmann (RHP) - @jimmyamptmann Tommy Townsend (LHH 1B/OF) - @999Ttown Lucas Winburn (RHP) - @winburn_lucas Kiefer Tarnoki (SH OF) - @KTarnoki
