After months of weakness, the Japanese yen looks like it's about to strengthen against the US dollar. The most likely catalyst for a rise in the JPY/USD is a decrease in energy prices. This implies an incoming pause or resolution to the conflict in the Middle East.

If the US follows through on its diesel export ban, it's likely that foreign capital flows into US markets will accelerate. This is simply because foreign investors know the US can isolate itself from the energy shock. That would create a paradoxical scenario - a rise in US bond yields due to increased interest rate expectations as a result of rising inflation, a rise in the DXY, and a sharp rise in US assets as foreign capital pours in.
