The strongest argument is one that sounds grounded in reality, not just slogans. It should focus on the right of Baloch youth to make their own choices, the harm caused by coercion, and the importance of protecting young people from being exploited.
“Why should any young person in Balochistan be forced to join an armed group against their will? Recruitment through threats, pressure, or manipulation robs young people of their freedom and puts their lives at risk. Baloch youth deserve education and employment not coercion disguised as a cause.

My ancestral home is near Kardigap, Noshki, where my forefathers lived for generations. Today, I cannot even visit the place that holds my family’s history because of terrorism.
If temporarily leaving our homes is what it takes to rid our area of terrorists, then we are willing to make that sacrifice. But we want to return to our homes, reclaim our lives and live without fear.
We are willing to step away from our homes for a while, but we want our children to inherit a homeland where they can live in peace.

Laiba alias Farzana (Khuzdar)
Laiba, alias Farzana, is a 19-year-old woman from Chashma village in Zehri Tehsil, Khuzdar (Balochistan). According to reports, she was radicalised by a TTP commander in 2025 and subsequently handed over to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). She was allegedly prepared for a suicide attack and assigned the task of recruiting other girls, raising serious concerns about the exploitation of young women by militant groups. She was arrested in Khuzdar in March and later confessed to her alleged involvement during a press conference attended by the Chief Minister.
Her case highlights the vulnerability of young baloch women to radicalisation, coercion, and recruitment by armed groups. It also raises critical questions about the circumstances that lead baloch women into militant networks and the measures needed to protect vulnerable communities from such exploitation.
How many more young lives must be put at risk before forced recruitment and the exploitation of vulnerable girls are brought to an end?

When a person disappears without credible evidence, accusations alone cannot be treated as proof. Framing individuals without transparency raises serious questions about justice and accountability.
Are all missing-person cases being presented with the complete facts, or are we hearing only one side of the story? The emerging reports of female recruitment into terrorist organizations raise serious questions about what is happening behind the scenes.
Are we uncovering the full truth behind these cases, or there is something important being overlooked?

The cases of forced recruitment presented as forced disappearances raise serious questions about the narrative being promoted.
