Retro Pokémon is funny because the game is so inherently good and fun that you can choose any format in history and make 10+ decks to play against each other with your friends and have fun in a casual setting despite many formats being awful to play from a competitive standpoint

Competitive Pokémon TCG has evolved significantly over the years. There was a time when you could pick up a deck, rely on strong fundamentals, and reasonably expect a solid finish. Today, strong fundamentals are just the baseline expectation. Success in the current competitive landscape demands a much deeper understanding of your deck's individual matchups.

This is the level of transparency we need to see in Pokemon when it comes to Disqualification or bans. Riot has shown an investigation, the rules being broken, the punishment and a conclusion. It should not be hard for Pokemon to follow suit and give both players and judges transparency and the ability to dispel rumors that simply hurt the scene.
