Hey dipshit, the jobs are in the expensive places. Houses in the suburbs of big cities aren’t cheap either. Telling people to move 2-3 hours away from their job and just commute every day if they want to own a decent home is why they hate your generation
You are likely correct. Most of the knuckleheads on this thread seem to think that because they can't find a $250k house in Boston or Lake Forest, IL that they don't exist. It's a fucking starter home. If you want to live in an expensive area, live there, but don't bitch about the price. Wanna own a home? Move where you can find one. Easy peasy.

It may be secret knowledge that only I have, but things cost different amounts in different places
A little inside baseball here, folks. My first house, age 25 or so, was $63k. That's it. The same house today: about $250k. In what universe does a young couple need a $450k house? Get real.

Checks out
Unpopular opinion; No one - literally not a soul - actually enjoys the taste of beer. Not a single human. Those who claim to enjoy beer, don’t actually. It’s really just a social ritual, a form of self deception… the impact of decades of stacked marketing to convince you that beer is anything but an alcohol delivery mechanism. You can enjoy getting sloshed. You can enjoy the social liberation that alcohol offers. You can enjoy the party. But don’t act like you actually like the taste of beer. You don’t. You might think you do. But you don’t. Because it tastes like it looks: bitter dehydrated piss, with bubbles. In the case of Guinness, like diarrhea, with bubbles. And you know it.

"Horner also revealed he was never given a clear reason for his dismissal" I bet if he really really sits and thinks about it, he could probably figure it out"
🚨 Christian Horner SLAMS the way Red Bull sacked him after 20 years! 🗣️ “Not all teams act in that way. A lot of teams haven’t delivered over the years but you don’t see the same brutality as when I left.” Horner also revealed he was never given a clear reason for his dismissal. (via. @guardian) #F1

It really is incredible how many different politicians, media outlets, and orgs like the police union are simply unwilling to say that a cop killed his entire family
Members of the SFPOA, friends, family and community members: It is with profound sadness, shock, and heavy hearts that we address the devastating news that emerged out of Marin County on Sunday evening. The tragic loss of retired Deputy Chief Ann Mannix, her daughter Katie, and retired Sergeant Kevin Mannix in a suspected murder-suicide has left our entire SFPD family reeling. There are no words that can fully capture the depth of this tragedy, nor are there simple answers to the painful questions we are all asking. Ann Mannix was a trailblazer in our department—becoming the first woman to join and lead the SWAT team, and rising to lead both the Field Operations and Special Operations Bureaus. Many worked alongside Kevin during his 27 years of dedicated service at Taraval Station and beyond. To see their lives, and the life of their 24-year-old daughter Katie, end in such a horrific and senseless manner is a burden that weighs heavily on every officer, active and retired. As a union and a family, we must navigate this dark moment together. While the Marin County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation, our immediate focus must be on supporting the surviving family members, processing our collective grief, and taking care of one another. Please remember that you do not have to carry this weight alone. This tragedy is a stark and painful reminder of the critical importance of mental health and wellness within our ranks. If you are struggling, hurting, or just need someone to talk to, please lean on the resources available to you: SFPD Behavioral Science Unit (BSU): Peer support and professional clinicians are available 24/7 to help you process this trauma. The SFPOA Employee Assistance Programs: Confidential counseling services are readily accessible to all members and their families. Copline (1-800-267-5463): A 24/7 strictly confidential hotline answered exclusively by retired law enforcement officers who understand the unique pressures of this life. The Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988 at any time for immediate, confidential support. Look out for your watch partners, check in on your retired colleagues, and do not hesitate to reach out if you see someone who is struggling. Let us keep the extended Mannix family and all those affected by this profound tragedy in our thoughts and prayers. In solidarity and sorrow, Louis Wong, SFPOA President

Tex Fischer is one of the most odious people in Ohio politics, and just a giant piece of shit. That said, “shrexted” is incredible
Ohio GOP state rep Tex Fischer on The Rooster's trial: “So if one of us doesn’t want to get Shrexted by The Rooster, I think just blocking his number would probably be a more appropriate response than calling the cops and having him hauled off to jail.” signalohio.org/ohio-blogger-…

Maybe try a young offensive coach who has a good scheme and calls his own plays? Certainly haven’t tried that
Whatever and whoever be the reason, Chargers are 0-5 and on a 8-game losing streak. This season is a wrap. I don't know where you go from here as a franchise. Tried every type of head coach, everything falls apart in year 3. Leader of men - FAIL Young 1st timer schematic guru - FAIL Old timer won everywhere, culture, toughness - FAIL Where do you even go from here?

I think it would be fine to fire Harbaugh, but I do believe in McDaniel and his offense, but they absolutely have to get a new training staff and routine, or an exorcism, because you can’t keep having your entire offense hurt every year and actually win anything
