[NON-BOT TWEET] Congressional account deactivations are probably not a good thing. Deactivations remove accessible-ish records of historical value from the public sphere, and there is no official system in place for specifically archiving a congressmember's tweets.

[NON-BOT TWEET] Only one MOC's robots.txt appears to hide a constituent resource. Since 2017, Sen. Ben Sasse site's robots.txt file has hidden & prevented search engines from finding a single link—a long meeting request form web.archive.org/web/20200516… web.archive.org/web/20200521…

[NON-BOT TWEET] I ran scripts to check the robots.txt files on every MOC's office site, and discovered two sites (Pat Roberts & Mitch McConnell) have sitewide rules preventing Google or other search engines from being able to properly index them. gist.github.com/alexlitel/2d…

[NON-BOT TWEET] If you or your team preschedules tweets, check what tweets you have prescheduled for the coming weeks and make sure they are responsible messages for the current moment.

[NON-BOT TWEET] Elected officials: use your Twitter accounts to model responsible behavior for your constituents. Don't tweet messages or photos/videos of activities that could make it harder to limit community spread. And don't do those activities.
