I Am From Zimbabwe. And Rwanda Makes Me Question Everything. Let me say that again, with all the weight it carries. I am from Zimbabwe , a land blessed beyond imagination. Gold beneath our feet, platinum in our hills, diamonds in our rivers, the richest soil, the most educated people. God gave us everything. And yet, when I look at Rwanda, I feel ashamed. Not because Rwanda has more. Rwanda has far less. I feel ashamed because Rwanda has done more with nothing, than we have done with everything. In my country, Zimbabwe, looting has become a trophy. We no longer hide theft. We celebrate it. Corruption is not whispered in dark corridors — it is displayed on Instagram, driven on our roads in convoys of luxury cars, built into mansions on stolen land. The looter is now the hero. The thief is now the role model. In my country, political proximity to power has become a licence to amass wealth. You do not need to innovate. You do not need to work. You do not need to build. You only need to be close. Close to power, close to the party, close to the right family. If you are close, the tenders are yours. The mines are yours. The land is yours. The US dollars are yours. And if you are not close, you can watch your country crumble while you queue for everything — for fuel, for cash, for hope. That is the painful truth of my beloved Zimbabwe. Then I look across the continent, to Rwanda. A small country. Landlocked. No vast mineral wealth. A country that in 1994, during the Genocide against the Tutsi, lost everything. The world remained silent. The world left you to die. You had every excuse to fail. Every excuse to loot. Every excuse to say, "We are traumatized, we cannot build." But you did the opposite. You stopped the Genocide. You chose unity over revenge. You made Kigali safe, clean, and beautiful — not because you are rich, but because you are disciplined. You built the Kigali Convention Centre. They said that was your limit. You built Kigali Arena. They said that was as far as you could go. You transformed Amahoro Stadium. They said other countries have bigger stadiums. You brought the UCI Cycling World Championships to Africa — the first time in history. They said, "It’s just cycling." Now you have brought Formula One to Rwanda. And suddenly, the whole world that once ignored you is now paying attention. The whole world wants to come to Kigali. Do you see the pattern, my fellow Zimbabweans? Rwanda kept rising while the world kept doubting. We keep sinking while the world keeps pitying us. Rwanda teaches me this profound lesson: A nation is not built by what is UNDER the ground. A nation is built by what is INSIDE the hearts of its people and its leaders. Rwanda has no diamonds to loot, so they learned to build. We have diamonds to loot, so we never learned to build. Rwanda has leaders who see power as a burden to carry the nation. We have people in power who see power as a licence to carry away the nation. Thank you, President Paul Kagame, for reminding Africa that it is possible. Thank you, people of Rwanda, for your discipline, your cleanliness, your vision. You have turned a genocide into greatness. I write this as a proud Zimbabwean who loves his country deeply , and that is why it hurts so much. I wish, with all my heart, that my country Zimbabwe, with all its wealth, could borrow just one leaf from Rwanda: That leadership is not about how much you can amass for yourself, but how much you can build for others. Until that day comes, I will keep looking at Rwanda — not with jealousy, but with longing. Longing for what Harare could be, if only we chose to be like Kigali. Much respect from Zimbabwe. 🇿🇼🇷🇼

DRC: EU VIDEO Two Belgian Members of the European Parliament, Elio Di Rupo and Hilde Vautmans, are members of the European Parliament. Do you ever see the killings being committed against Congolese Tutsis in the DRC, where they are being hacked to death with machetes, just as the Interahamwe hacked Tutsis to death during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda? Do you watch these videos, or do you see them and deliberately ignore them because of your own interests, choosing instead to lobby for President Felix Tshisekedi in the European Parliament? Reliable information indicates that Floribert ANZULUNI ISILOKETSHI, Minister of Regional Integration of the DRC, through Lydia Mutyebele Ngoi, a Congolese-born member of the Belgian Parliament, managed to conspire with Elio Di Rupo and Hilde Vautmans, members of the European Parliament, to call for sanctions against former President Joseph Kabila and Rwanda, in order to make it appear that they care about the people of the DRC. If you care about them, why have you never condemned the attacks carried out by the FARDC, FDNB, WAZALENDO, FDLR, and mercenaries against the Banyamulenge in the High Plateaus, where people are being killed by drones and bombs launched from Burundi? These civilians are in danger because you have blocked their routes to obtain basic necessities and food and to access medical care. You have also destroyed the crops they spent years cultivating, so that those who are not killed by bullets, bombs, or machetes will die of hunger. This is a genocide being committed against them. Those who should be speaking up for them are instead calling for sanctions against President Tshisekedi and his accomplice, President Ndayishimiye, thereby distracting the international community so that it forgets the killings being committed by President Tshisekedi and his accomplice, President Ndayishimiye. @drcJosephKabila @CNangaa @fatshi13 @MONUSCO @antonioguterres @US_SrAdvisorAF @SecRubio @PaulKagame @WilliamsRuto @KagutaMuseveni @SuluhuSamia @CyrilRamaphosa @officialABAT @JDMahama @HHichilema @HassanSMohamud @GeneralNeva @EmmanuelMacron @realDonaldTrump @narendramodi @MarkJCarney @LulaOficial @JMilei @petrogustavo @nayibbukele @Claudiashein @Keir_Starmer @GiorgiaMeloni @ZelenskyyUa @donaldtusk @sanchezcastejon @TamimBinHamad @IntlCrimCourt @_AfricanUnion @UN_Women

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi, the elder brother of President Félix Tshisekedi, criticized the governance of the Kinshasa administration led by his younger brother. He pointed out that their father's slogan, which stated, “The People Come First,” appears to have been devalued and replaced by interests based on mineral extraction. He made these remarks during a ceremony to launch a book dedicated to his mother, where he criticized the country's governance direction, pointing out that it no longer practically reflects the principle of prioritizing the welfare and interests of the people. ### “The People Come First” Has Been Replaced by “The Mines Come First” Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi pointed out that his father's slogan, which was known for emphasizing that the people must come first in political decisions and national governance, appears to have been forgotten under the current administration. He expressed this using language that prioritizes mineral mines, explaining that instead of putting the people first, the government appears to focus on interests based on areas containing mineral resources. These remarks reflect criticism of the DRC's governance direction, emphasizing that the interests and welfare of the people should be prioritized rather than interests based on the country's natural resources. ### He Expressed Concerns About the Management of National Resources Among the issues criticized by Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi were what he sees as a significant gap between the principles the government announced it would follow and the way the country is currently governed. He expressed concerns about what he described as a departure from good governance principles, as well as problems related to the waste and embezzlement of public resources. He presented these issues as being inconsistent with the principle of putting the people first, because good governance requires that national resources be managed transparently and used for the common good. His remarks showed that he is dissatisfied with the governance direction in Kinshasa, particularly regarding the prioritization of the general interests of the Congolese people and the protection of the country's natural resources. ### Criticizing His Younger Brother's Government The statements made by Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi are particularly significant because they criticize the government led by his younger brother, President Félix Tshisekedi. Being members of the same family did not prevent him from expressing his dissatisfaction with the country's governance direction, based on the principles that he believes should guide the government's operations. These remarks have once again raised the question of the role of leaders in prioritizing the welfare of the people, particularly in a country rich in natural resources but still facing various social and development challenges. The key question being raised is whether the DRC's governance still follows the principle of putting the people first, or whether interests based on natural resources and minerals have been given greater priority. The statements made by Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi have once again brought public debate back to the country's governance, the management of natural resources, and the responsibility of leaders to protect the interests of the Congolese people. @drcJosephKabila @CNangaa @fatshi13 @MONUSCO @antonioguterres @US_SrAdvisorAF @SecRubio @PaulKagame @WilliamsRuto @KagutaMuseveni @SuluhuSamia @CyrilRamaphosa @officialABAT @JDMahama @HHichilema @HassanSMohamud @GeneralNeva @EmmanuelMacron @realDonaldTrump @narendramodi @MarkJCarney @LulaOficial @JMilei @petrogustavo @nayibbukele @Claudiashein @Keir_Starmer @GiorgiaMeloni @ZelenskyyUa @donaldtusk @sanchezcastejon @TamimBinHamad @IntlCrimCourt @_AfricanUnion @UN_Women

Look at the atrocities being committed against a young girl. 💔 This is the cruelty attributed to the FDLR and Wazalendo, groups accused of showing no mercy, even to young girls. Where is the protection these children deserve? The DRC government must act to protect innocent civilians and ensure that those responsible are held accountable. The suffering of innocent people can not be ignored , Tshisekedi must answer this. No child should have to suffer such cruelty. The world must not remain silent. Free Congo
Look at what is happening to the Congolese people in their own country 💔😢 People are being buried alive, while armed groups like FDLR, WAZALENDO, continue to terrorise civilians, destroy villages, and subject women and children to horrific violence. President Tshisekedi’s government must answer for the security crisis. How can a country so rich in natural resources continue to witness such suffering? The Congolese people deserve justice, security, and peace. The world must not remain silent while innocent lives are lost. Free Congo! 🇨🇩💔
