We haven't seen such low approval for a president on the economy since the Great Recession in 2008. But it's not a mystery why — under Trump the cost of basic needs are rising out of control, and homeownership is out of reach for too many Americans.

Late on a Friday night, Trump is attempting to illegally withhold funds that were already approved by Congress. I won't stand by while he uses these back-door maneuvers to cut funding for American families. Congress must pass my bill that would put an end to his power grabs.
