Very significant increase in the number of burnt fields in Kherson Oblast, in southern Ukraine. Comparison is taken from Sentinel-2 infrared, on 2022-07-08 and 2022-07-03. Comes amidst reports of increased fighting in the area & deliberate Russian attacks against agriculture.

Fresh damage is visible on Snake Island in the Black Sea, damage has appeared sometime between the 13th of June and today, Ukraine claim to have struck the island overnight on the 20th.

I pasted the @Liveuamap control map of the front line to the west of Kherson over NASA's fire map for today. It looks like the majority of the fires are in what is known to be Russian controlled territory. Likely these fires were caused by Ukrainian artillery fire.

Sat imagery appears to confirm the Ukrainian withdrawal from Lyman in Donetsk Oblast, far fewer fires are visible in the area and the ones that are visible are further to the south (as opposed to the northern border of the town 3 days ago)

Judging by the fires visible on Sentinel satellite imagery, fighting in central Mariupol is moving south towards the coast. It's possible this is where the remaining territory in the city where Ukrainian forces are in control.
