Exactly 50 years ago this week, Come Play with Me was filming on location in Oxfordshire. Starring Alfie Bass, George Harrison Marks and Mary Millington. It would become the biggest British sex comedy of all-time.

Shortly after Dennis Waterman died, I revisited Newmans Passage near Oxford Street and placed this little card as a tribute.
By chance, @londonshoesblog also visited and spotted my photo.
Rest In Peace Dennis

You Rang M'Lord? Remembering the wonderful Donald Hewlett on what would have been his 106th birthday. Wonderful in YRML? & 'It Ain't Half Hot Mum!!
He also made a very brief but memorable appearance in 'Are You Being Served?', where he wore a dress!

My artist friend #MuffinToppComics did this great cartoon of Linda Hayden in her iconic role as Elizabeth from Confessions of a Window Cleaner. I showed it to Linda and she loved it.

The restaurant in Bengal Tiger is Mumtaz near Regents Park. We took a little trip there a few months ago and we’re delighted that it’s hardly changed. We even got to recreate the fight! #Minder

What sad news that Jimmy Cricket has left us. I remember going to Nottingham to film a show with him on his own TV series.
Even now it was his warmth that struck me and working with him was a joy - so generous with his time so that you enjoyed performing with him. You knew you were working with someone whose comedy was timeless and perfect for any audience of any age.
Rest in peace Jimmy … ✝️

The gorgeous Mary Millington Movie Collection blu-ray boxset I produced, curated, and made all the special features for, is available now! #ComePlayWithMe
Saddened to hear of the passing of #JimmyCricket
Went to see Jimmy about 10 years ago. After the show he was out selling merch and he had a birthday diary. If you put your name and address in the diary he'd send you a birthday card. Sure enough, next birthday I got this. RIP Jim
