Investing three years of your life and lakhs of rupees in a journalism degree, only to join Republic TV, is like training for cricket for years and then applying for baseball trials.
Now: Republic TV reporter heckles Neha Bora and Abhijeet Dipke at their press conference.

Can we please organise a quick India vs England series? I want to see Sky Cricket’s special mid-innings show for our Imran Khan too.

Let's see how many in the Bombay film fraternity stand up for one of their own (Imran Khan) now. This should be fun.

Indian authorities are using abusive methods to crack down on thousands of peaceful protesters in New Delhi and other Indian cities. The protests, led by the Gen Z Cockroach Janta Party, opposition parties, student organizations, and civil society groups, have demanded the resignation of the country’s top election official over alleged wrongdoing and the scrapping of a contentious voter list revision process. hrw.org/news/2026/10/13/indi…

Every Bollywood actor is desperate for PR, and yet they don’t realise that standing up for what’s right, against all odds, is the best and most organic PR you can ever get.
who would’ve thought this song had the potential to turn into an anthem of resistance and revolution!

Eshwar upar se sab dekh raha hai.
Thousands of protesters have gathered in central Delhi on Monday, 12 October, as Opposition MPs, political leaders, student organisations, youth activists and civil society groups join a massive demonstration demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar and an immediate halt to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Led by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, the INDIA bloc's march towards the Supreme Court has brought together leaders and supporters of the Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC), Samajwadi Party (SP), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Left parties and other Opposition formations. Members and supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), the All India Students' Association (AISA) and other student groups have also joined the mobilisation. Protesters began gathering around Connaught Place and Barakhamba Road ahead of the march. Demonstrators pushed through police barricades as the mobilisation moved forward, amid a heavy security deployment across central Delhi. The Opposition had planned to submit a memorandum to Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, seeking action over alleged electoral irregularities, the SIR exercise and the demand for Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. However, the CJI declined a request for a private meeting, citing pending judicial proceedings, and advised the Opposition to approach the Supreme Court through a formal petition. Monday's mobilisation follows two days of widespread protests and a massive police crackdown across Delhi on 10 and 11 October. Thousands of protesters, including political leaders, student activists and CJP supporters, were detained as Delhi Police prevented demonstrators from reaching Jantar Mantar. Ahead of Monday's march, more than 30,000 police and paramilitary personnel were reportedly deployed across the national capital. Six Metro stations were closed for several hours, while traffic restrictions were imposed on multiple roads. In another significant development, Delhi Police announced on Monday that Jantar Mantar would no longer be a designated protest site, identifying Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground and CBD Ground as alternative venues. @hey_eshwar

Asking Sreenivas, “Are you left-wing or right-wing?” is 🤌🏼😅 Not blaming the girl, though. It was an innocent question, and I’m glad the youth knows whom to speak to.
"are you left wing or right wing"

All of this… this fear, this desperation… beating children, detaining protesters, detaining journalists, and now this, just to save one man. Cowards.
Jantar Mantar denotified as designated protest site. Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground and CBD Ground are the new designated protest sites.

Horrific details. This is NOT okay. This is unacceptable.
This is the most horrific detention story you will hear today. At 8 PM, this bus stopped at a community centre in Pandwalan Khurd (see photo). Detainees fractured. Four minors present. Everyone barbarically beaten up. No lawyers allowed to enter. This is how we got here. ⬇️

Dhurandhar tickets.
Passport, Aadhaar card, birth certificate, residence certificate, ration card. If none of these documents can prove Indian citizenship, then what document actually proves that an Indian is an Indian?

India’s democracy, sovereignty and secularism will never be up for negotiation. You are elected to add to this nation, but the moment you start playing with its foundations, you need to step back. You might want to rewrite history, but good luck rewriting the idea of India.
