This technology could be one of the most significant of our lifetimes. It has been proven in mice through live healthy birth. And it has the potential to significantly expand the age women can have children, prevent disease, and dramatically expand options for family planning.

After a simple blood draw, we converted blood cells into stem cells, and then coaxed those stem cells into becoming miniature human ovaries that contain the early eggs. While there is still work ahead (especially evaluating future safety), this is a major scientific advance.
