The Victorian Socialists candidate for Melbourne is claiming credit for organising teachers. Look at his former campaign manager, the party’s teacher network and the organisations behind the high school walkouts, and there is plenty to take seriously.
Socialists have built an organised presence in Victorian education. They are quite open about using it to build their political movement.
