As a leftist, of course I found myself hating Pence and his dodgey answers and outright fibs. But I also found myself saying to myself "Pence is speaking valid concerns for Harris' court history". Of course not that the Trump administration can say any better...but still. Valid.

This new poetry collection by @micahbournes is a must read! "The cover features a man of African descent at an intersection in any given city in America...But upon closer examination, you may notice there are green lights in both directions, a set up, a guaranteed disaster."

This sounds like an excellent argument for having medical professionals patrol nearby. Defunding the police would allow for medical professionals *without* tear gas and guns to administer aid.
In 2018 and 2019, @vicpdcanada officers saved 43 individuals in the midst of a fatal overdose by delivering life-saving Naloxone. Many times, multiple doses. We ARE saving lives by being out in the community 24/7. I don't have 2020 stats yet.
