Watch the 787 #Dreamliner difference in action. This machine is layering carbon fiber tape to build the aftbody sections of the 787 fuselage. The composite material is stronger than steel and lighter than aluminum.
Larger windows, lower cabin altitude pressurization, increased cabin humidity, greater fuel efficiency and more, are all made possible by an airframe made of composites.
