This is one of the reasons we decided to create Community Beacon - an app totally focused on helping and only sourcing information for official sources.
WhatsApp has become the focus of a range of COVID-19 misinformation campaigns socialmediatoday.com/news/wh…
Anyone in #wilmslow able to help our self isolating users of Community Beacon? There are help requests in your area and you can help out in the volunteer app communitybeacon.co.uk #communitybeacon #communityspirit

We have decided to develop an app which is targeted at connecting the isolated and in need, with those around them that can help. The app is super simple to use and will be available for free.
We need testers in the coming days, register interest here: hubs.ly/H0pjMb_0
You wait weeks for a tweet from us and then get 3 in a day!
Download this app and do another thing from the comfort of your sofa to help slow the spread of #COVID19 by self-reporting your symptoms daily, even if you feel well 🙏🏼
