Starting my journey as an investor.
I’ll be sharing what I learn about investing, wealth building, real estate, the S&P 500, and personal finance.
I’m not here to pretend. I’m here to learn, document the journey, and hopefully help someone along the way.

Don’t watch the clock. Do what it does.
Keep going.
Keep investing. Keep saving. Keep learning.
Keep becoming the best version of yourself.
Because you’re responsible for the person you become and the future you build.
Just keep going.

Index fund investors are often seen as lazy investors.
But your goal isn’t to prove you’re smarter than the market. Your goal is to build wealth.
And that doesn’t necessarily require you to be a great stock picker.

What do you know about savings?
Saving gives you freedom.
It isn’t just about how much you earn.
It’s about how high your savings rate is.
A high savings rate gives you the ability to create or go after opportunities.

We tend to believe the stories we’re told about why someone became successful, why the market went up, or whether a crash is coming.
Sometimes, we believe them simply because the person telling the story sounds convincing.
same with investing.
Don’t confuse a convincing story with certainty.

There are three categories of people:
Givers. Takers. Matchers.
Try your best to be a giver.
A giver is someone who gives without expecting something in return—not because they’re naive, but because they understand that giving value is valuable in itself.

Starting is the first big step in your financial journey.
Thinking long term gives you an edge. It helps you focus on what actually matters, realize what you really want for yourself, and brings a lot of clarity.
But the problem is, some people never just start.
Start now.

You don’t need to know what the market will do next. You need to know what YOU will do next.

Don’t panic when the market crashes.
Toughen up.
You might see your portfolio fall 40%, and in that moment, a whole storm of emotions will rush in fear, doubt, anxiety, the urge to sell.
But amidst all of that, stay rational.
Stick to your investment plan.
The market has proven one thing over and over again: despite crashes, recessions, wars, and uncertainty, it has historically continued to rise over the long term.
So all you need to do is:
TOUGHEN UP, CUPCAKE! 🧁

Sometimes I don’t always post on X.
My reminder is always telling me it’s time to post because consistency would help me grow my account.
But if there’s one thing I can share with you today about money, it’s this:
Stop thinking about what your money can buy.
That’s the wrong way to think about money.
Instead, think about what your money can earn and what those earnings can earn.
That’s where wealth starts to compound.

Risk is what you don’t see.
So is wealth.
Don’t let one stop you from getting to the other.
Don’t pile all your cash into a savings account while waiting to pick the next winning stock.
You might as well get in while the tide is high.
