Did you catch Michael Kennard on our show last week? We loved what he had to say about compost, together with his enthusiasm for turning waste material into something so beneficial. Thank you for speaking up for the microbes beneath our feet 😊 bbc.in/44sKULx

Written by Brighton's own Compost Club substack.com/@compostmichael… This commercial Veolia compost is awful. They're down cycling at best...

Absolutely loved Micheal’s enthusiasm for making compost….. It’s the beating heart of any garden….. I thought it was only me who got excited about making homemade compost 😂😊….. #HappyDays #Compost #GardenersWorld 🧑‍🌾🪴🌸

Absolutely brilliant. No one should ever say “why do you make your own compost when you can buy it”. Look forward to watching it for the 3rd time 😂👏🏻

You could look into bokashi and a wormery. That's what I do at home in a small garden 👍 – at Lewes, England

It is not compost, it's awful. We put some premium compost under the microscope and showed how bad it was but it didn't make the edit. – at Lewes, England

😂 we actually call that a compost extract. A tea is a whole other process in the compost world. – at Lewes, England
