It was April 2020. Newly unemployed, as the world melted down from Covid. A visit to Nicaragua turned into a new home after the border was sealed.
So I did the only sensible thing: called up some buddies - Ronny, Ananda, Mikael and Anja - and we started an automated trading app.

Simons often emphasized that the pleasure of discovering a mathematical truth feels very similar to the pleasure of hearing a perfectly resolved piece of music. The brain is recognizing harmony—whether numerical or auditory.
