Interesting comments from Coach Saban about baseball players and their skill sets translating. College coaches like multi sport athletes in high school.
Finishing up the fall today against @HenryFord_Hawks. A lot of offers and a lot of commitments so far, can’t wait to see play #collegebaseball in the future!
Another offer for our fall team players! Congrats!
Honored and blessed to receive an offer from U of M Dearborn for an opportunity to continue my academic and athletic career. Thank you to @CoachRich_Rob for having me out earlier in the week for a practice.@ABHSBSBL @_BehindTheDish @CoachDunny22

Thank you to @pat_gillies @AQBaseball for hosting CST today! Felt good on the mound—1 IP with a K, attacked the zone and focused on controlling what I could by inducing weak infield contact/outs. Shoutout to a great catcher @BradleyJon43852 for working with me and keeping us locked in. Looking forward to @HenryFord_Hawks on 10/17! @CompleteSport10 @jakepacholski22 @CoachBrooks90 @SluggersSA

Last week, the mother of a 2027 RHP, 5'9", 160, completed my evaluation and scholarship application.
Her words: nothing is happening. Zero communication from college coaches. His travel coaches told her he's a D1 or D2 player.
A few days later, she called back. His travel coaches are now going to "find him a good fit." The same coaches. The same plan. The same results.
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.
Some travel coaches sell hope, because hope keeps parents paying. As long as your son is "D1 material," you keep writing the checks.
Wake up, parents. If what you've been doing hasn't produced results, why would you keep doing it?
Not every player is meant to play college baseball. But every player deserves the truth about where he stands, while there's still time to do something about it.

Blessed to be playing with @CompleteSport10 this fall. Invaluable reps vs JUCO/NAIA teams and support throughout the recruiting process. Proud of our work today as a team. 1 IP and time at 3B. Highlights include: 2Ks and a weak infield hit/out, 5-4-3 DP and quality reps against great competition. Can’t wait to keep it going with @baseballRCU 9/30 @AQBaseball 10/4 and @HenryFord_Hawks 10/17

Some quick recruiting advice:
College baseball is harder to break into than ever.
Stop obsessing over the “perfect” school.
Find a program that believes in you.
Find a coach who will give you a real opportunity.
Find a place where you can play, develop, and prove yourself.
GET IN and GET BETTER.
Because once you show you can perform at the college level, more doors start to open for you.
Your first opportunity doesn’t have to be your last opportunity.
Sometimes you just need someone to give you the chance to get your foot in the door.
Then it’s on you to make sure they can’t take you off the field.

Only thing I would add is don’t be afraid to post your success as well as when things didn’t go your way and you grinded through adversity. College coaches don’t expect perfection, they expect improvement. #baseballrecruiting
