Hot take. For this exact reason, I didn’t want us to pay Kyle Pitts.
The offense needs an outside threat with speed AND size at X to open it up.
The combo of Drake, Pitts, and the other TEs isn’t making it work. And Branch isn’t an X WR to beat press.
But alas.
Decision-making is a MAJOR part of the equation. There's absolutely no denying that!
However, there's a much bigger issue that too many people are overlooking.
You're lining up with TWO tight ends and Drake London, who isn't exactly a burner, on the same side of the field.
At some point, we have to start questioning the offensive concepts, personnel alignment, and how these players are being utilized.
SCHEME MATTERS! PERSONNEL MATTERS! EXECUTION MATTERS!
You can't keep questioning the quarterback's decisions without also questioning whether the offensive design is putting him in the best position to succeed.

In a must win game for the Falcons to turn the corner, we score zero points and lose in a game where Baker Mayfield played the whole game and went 0/3 as a passer.
That’s it. 3 attempts. 0 completions. 60 min of football.

That story of Penix throwing in the cold wet weather for the Falcons out in Seattle and there being no difference is smelling extra fishy at the moment. He looks terrible
