Im sure I've said it before. Green Wing is, without doubt, on of the best medical comedies ever written. Ever. It's all just genius. 鉂わ笍馃憤

I know London gets a lot of stick. I get that cos its been ruined (and continues to be so) by consecutive government policies. However, its famous the world over for a whole host of stuff. And I stand by that. We should be proud of our capital city. It has it's issues, but, this place rocks. 鉂わ笍

Good afternoon campers. Hope you're all well and surviving this Bank Holiday weekend. Me, I've retreated to the ManCave to fix some Commodores and listen to this beauty. Reel to Reels are just soooo cool. Have a good one. #keepitcommodore #commodorehospital

Kicking it old school tonight. Bought this copy back in 1986. This guy had a huge influence on me as a teenage drummer. Massively underrated drummer and mocked in the late 80s / early 90s as he was everywhere. This album still holds it's own and sounds great after a thorough cleaning. I hate to think the turntables this one has been spun on over the last 40 years....

And then there's this beauty. Anothe top pop tune from my teenage years. I found this in a charity shop for 50p. Fastest purchase I've ever made. Tune. 馃憤

So. I do tend to say that the old brick psus that come with the C64 are usually ok and pass all the 24 hour load tests I put them under. However, there is one which I will exclusively NOT connect to a 64 without testing or inspecting. The first pic is the voltage it supplied on the 5v line when I first connected it to my tester. 7.7v! That will hurt your 64. The second pic is the symbol to look out for on the bottom of your black psu. These are UK made and I suspect only sold here with later breadbins. It says "Woden". The third pic is why they fail. A dry joint on the ground pin of the 7805 regulator. It disconnects and the output floats. Hence the 7v. Just keep an eye out. This is a Commodore health announcement brought to you by @commodorelad #keepitcommodore #commodorehospital #commodorerulez

And this is what it's like when its fixed. Solder removed and reflowed and showing the right voltage, even under a 1.7a load... The one on my tester is lower as the input socket isnt great.... This will be tested for 24 hours before it goes anywhere near a 64....馃憤
