A lot of internal noise in the last 48 hours, but Fury-Joshua will happen December 11 in Cardiff, Wales.
@DanaWhite will be the Promoter of the event despite the severe objection from @EddieHearn.
Eddie Hearn's role will be solely as Anthony Joshua's Promoter. Hearn will have no say on policy, nor thee undercard of the event.
Eddie Hearn should be happy enough, but he isn't, that @Turki_alalshikh & Gabe Spitzer of @Netflix allowed the fight to happen in the UK. That in it's self should be a victory for Hearn. But Hearn still isn't happy because he wanted to be the Promoter of thee event.
Would like to thank Turki Alalshikh, Gabe Spitzer of Netflix, & Nick Khan for making this great event possible. Thank you Gentlemen.
Always remember, those who put up the money rule the roost.
So @Tyson_Fury vs Anthony Joshua will finally happen after all these years. Wonders never cease.
Please re-post this for all Boxing fans.
RIP George Chuvalo. He was much more than one of the toughest fighters ever. He was a terrific person & a wonderful friend.
Heaven has gained one tough, tough, kind & loving angel.
Andy Ruiz has joined a long list of fighters, including 1980's heavyweight contender, who ruined his career with laziness, a fast life, a poor diet & inactivity.
He won unanimously, though two judges saw it much closer than it actually was. It's time he looks for a new career!

Always meeting new people in Boxing around the world to do business with.
The fact that Boxing is more global than ever is a good thing. Look, Errol Spence, & Stephen Fulton fighting in Australia this coming weekend, & Jermall Charlo was also supppose to fight on that show except was denied a visa. Boxing is definitely growing globally!
The UFC & every state Athletic Commission should ban Josh Hokit for his crude & disgusting remark about our former First Lady, who has filed lawsuits against this lowlifes. In no way does Hokit exemplify what MMA or the UFC is all about. BAN HIM!!

There was an accidental omission from the Good Guy's in Boxing list.
IBHOF'er Randy Gordon @CommishRandyG was suppose to be on the list. My mistake. Apologies Randy.
It was a fun Induction Weekend at the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame. I feel bad for Lou DiBella, who had a plane to catch (which he made by only minutes), so he couldn't stay to get his FBHOF ring or to accept for Bob Arum, who is recuperating from knee surgery.

WOOPS! One of the greatest actresses ever--Jodie Foster--hit the blooper world with a big one Tuesday a.m. on NBC's Today Show. She asked to cut it out, but they were Live! Nothing like live TV! They all laughed & handled it well. CBS thanks her.

In 1979, I gave Ring Magazine's "Fighter of the Year" Award to Sugar Ray Leonard, who was 9-0 that year. I don't understand why so many feel this year it's Bud Crawford, who was 1-0. He gets "Performance of the Year." Fighter Award goes to 4-0 Naoya Inoue. @dougiefischer
Question of the day: When the @NYMBaseball play the World Champion @Dodgers in 2026 at Citi Field, will the Mets play the "Trumpet Song" when Edwin Diaz walks out of the Dodgers' bullpen?
The Mets NEVER should have let Diaz walk!

📆 Pryor TKO 14 Arguello is the most controversial finish ever seen in a superfight:
💥 Pryor hurt in Round 13
👃 SMELLING SALTS administered between rounds
🧴 "THE ONE I MIXED!"
🥊 Trainer PANAMA LEWIS banned from boxing and jailed the following year for glove tampering 😡
Condolences to talk show host (and huge boxing fan!) @jimmykimmel on the loss of his best friend & bandleader, Cleto Escobedo. @gerrycooney & I would love to have Jimmy as a guest on our SiriusXM show.
I have been gutted today by the news that my longtime friend, combat sports journalist @tgerbasi (Thomas Gerbasi) passed away suddenly. He was on my SiriusXM show a few days ago, sounding thrilled as he talked about his new book "Boxing: The 100 Greatest Fighters."
RIP Thomas

I just visited the champ in his place. He will soon start his vacation with his family. He has 2 fights left with @RiyadhSeason in ’26. We offered him to work with us until he quits and retires. I want go give a special thank you to @Canelo for the special gift. He gave me the gloves of the fight, and I appreciate it very much. 🇲🇽🇸🇦
The @IBHOF should change the category "Non-Participant" to a name such as "Contributor." I also believe two non-champions, @gerrycooney & George Chuvalo, should be inducted. No non-champ has ever carried as much popularity decades after retirement as Cooney.
