This week our Commando Joes Challenge was to work together as a team to climb to the top of the mountain. When we heard the tambourine and word avalanche we had to all shelter under the parachute. #TheGatesPhysical Development #CommandoJoes.

After last week’s mission, an imaginary storm swept through and destroyed our Commando Joe’s campsite 🌪️ Today’s team rebuilt it stronger than ever — with boys’ and girls’ sections too! Loads of teamwork, problem-solving and fun in the go-at-it! 💪🔥 #CommandoJoes

Some excellent #teamwork today as part of ‘Operation Overlord’, for our @CommandoJoes learning. We worked in groups to train like ‘troops’, getting ready for D-Day. We have learned so much about dedication! #RemembranceDay25

In our @CommandoJoes session this week we looked at communication. We talked about why communication is so important. We then had to help Jack (from Jack and the Beanstalk) prove to his Mum that the beans would grow and had to work as a team! #thegatescommandojoes

Another two great weeks with @CommandoJoes🚨 Mission completed! After securing the kit, we re-entered the building… and got TRAPPED! Students had to problem-solve & team up to recover batteries from towering heights. Quick thinking + teamwork = mission success! 💡💪🔥

Our final session with @CommandoJoes was a true test of creativity and resilience! 🛠️ The mission: build the longest ramp to get a tennis ball across the room without it touching the ground. Working solo, every student rose to the challenge. Mission complete! ✅ #STEMChallenge

A little throwback to a wonderful day yesterday. Mrs Fercsi commented, “Future Harper Green students smashed their Y6 transition day with @CommandoJoes 💪! They worked in teams, tackled the tallest tower challenge, and already showed the Harper Values in action” 👏#FutureYear7

After a fantastic Transition Evening, it was lovely to welcome our #futureYr7students into Harper Green today. The day began and ended with a welcome and celebration from Miss Homer, HOY and our AHT for KS3, Mr Thomson. Already we know Yr7 are going to absolutely thrive with us!
