Please be careful with the words you use in your resume. If you are unsure of the meaning, please look it up. Read a resume with a word that didn't seem to fit. I looked it up and it was a sexual reference, no other definitions. There's a quick way to get rejected.

"I hope this email finds you well" Can we please stop using this in emails and messaging. I adds no value.

I feel like 50% of connection requests I accept on LinkedIn immediately ask me to jump on a call or find them a job. This AI messaging is out of hand.

"We came across your profile. We are opening a East Coast, US location for our company. We would like to talk about management job." I keep getting stuff like this on LinkedIn. I wish they would put some effort into screening this bs profiles.

This will be more of a deep dive and will have a Word doc w/notes. If there is enough interest, I will continue to do this on Sundays as my time allows. Companies are still hiring. Tips to interview endlessly with no results. ❌ Don’t research the company. You want this to be an adventure. ✖ Accept the interview invite, but don’t remember any of their names. ❌ Ask questions on the fly. You don’t want to be rehearsed. ✖ Don’t pay attention to what position it’s for. You want a job and that’s all you need to know. ❌ Don't check out the interviewers' LinkedIn profiles. This will only help you get to know them a little. But seriously, Do the opposite of all these things. Preparation is key to acing an interview.
