als Naturwissenschaftler der sich absolut der Tragweite der Probleme des #Klimawandels bewusst ist, ertrage ich die rein moralische Argumentation in vielen Medien / der EU OHNE jede Kenntnis (oder bewusste Ignorierung) der Zahlen nicht mehr:
#Österreich trägt MAXIMAL zu 0.3 % zu den weltweiten #Treibhausgasen bei (die ganze #EU nicht mehr als 7%).
Wir können "unsere Treibhausgase" ganz schnell um gewaltige 0.2% reduzieren und dabei unsere Wirtschaft in Grund und Boden fahren und dabei praktisch NICHTS zur weltweiten Reduktion der Treibhausgase beitragen
ODER
wir stützen unsere Industrie und produzieren auch Technologie für eine nachhaltige Energiewirtschaft die wir exportieren können, der Nutzen ist ungleich höher.
Die Argumentation mit Vorbild und wir sind schuld an den Emissionen der letzten 200 Jahre ist nur moralisierend & lächerlich - damit wird NICHTS am Klimawandel verhindert und wir werden genau das Gegenteil von einem Vorbild.
Die Klimaziele der #EU wurden aus einem (woken) Populismus geboren um Aktivisten nach dem Mund zu reden- die Stützung der Industrie für nachhaltige Technologien wäre was die weltweite Reduktion der Emissionen betrifft, viel, viel sinnvoller....
In Abwandlung des Spruches eines österreichischen Kanzler kann man da nur sagen:

Österreich hat ein Ausgabenproblem, und wir hätten besser gestern als heute damit beginnen müssen, es ernsthaft anzugehen. Schweden und die Schweiz haben es vorgemacht: Beide Länder haben vor Jahrzehnten den Ernst der Lage erkannt und Ausgabenbremsen eingeführt. Seiter ist ihre Staatsverschuldung gesunken – und liegt heute bei 36,6 bzw. 33,5 Prozent des BIP. Österreich hingegen hat diesen Schritt nie gesetzt und trägt heute eine Schuldenlast von 86,4 Prozent – mehr als doppelt so viel. Selbst Deutschland, das mit seiner Schuldenbremse zumindest einen Teil der Disziplin eingeführt hat, steht mit 73,7 Prozent deutlich besser da.
Der Unterschied ist kein Zufall, sondern das Ergebnis politischer Entscheidungen. Wer Ausgaben strukturell begrenzt, schafft fiskalischen Spielraum – für Krisen, für Investitionen, für kommende Generationen. Wer es nicht tut, schiebt die Rechnung nur weiter. Österreich schiebt seit Jahrzehnten. Es ist Zeit, das zu ändern – mit einer echten Ausgabenbremse, die diesen Namen verdient.

For example the bits about killing 'infidels', and child marriage. and sexual slavery, and Female Genital
Mutilation, and how husbands may beat wives, and worst of all, how dogs should be banned

Or even the bit about imposing Islam on the entire country, which might be irony, but I don't think so
A lot of British people don't really want any of this, and the problem is that the Koran forbids compromise
