It's the "dog days of summer" when the weather is hottest, energy is low and it can feel like there is no breeze and relief in sight, especially if you already had your vacation. In ancient times it was a time of drought or famine waiting for harvest. Art can feel that way too...

Nature's Rebirth
opensea.io/item/ethereum/0x5…
Hello Lanett and BSY,
I created Nature's Rebirth in 2023 using a combination of 3D and AI. It was minted in February 2024 as part of triptych
This piece was born from the idea that nature always finds a way back. No matter how much is lost, damaged, or forgotten, life quietly begins again. That resilience became a reflection of us. Healing rarely happens all at once. It happens slowly, almost invisibly, until one day we realize we have become something new.
One artwork from this collection won the OP contest in 2024. And another found its loving home but this piece remains, making it perhaps the oldest work in my collection still waiting for its home.
In a way, I think that's fitting Some things aren't meant to arrive quickly. They simply wait for the moment they are meant to be seen.

Drawing Machine by @liasomething
Lia has been creating generative computer art for decades. In Drawing Machine X4 she uses a simple visual language - just a small bar shape. Yet the larger shapes and feelings that emerge are stunning. I still haven't found the right words for this one. I need someone better like @briandroitcour to help me out.

I’ve looked through each call but as always DYOR, read the details and requirements of each call to determine if the opportunity is right for you. (I hold no affiliation with these calls.)
Thank you to the teams at @shillrxyz and @timepieces for including these opportunities in their newsletters!
Dear Artists,
Planning a small-to-mid-size blind collection on Tezos? Drop it on @dropdotart and here's why👇!
The UI/UX feels seamless and fun. Artists can add a write-up, pick tunes that match the vibe (love how that sets the mood), share WIPs right on the page (one of my favourite touches), and let collectors leave notes for you.
Bonus: collector leaderboards + interactive elements that make art feel connected and alive.
The @objktcom team makes collecting fun and true to networked art culture!

Discover the Tezos VR Gallery: A cutting-edge 3D virtual museum app that turns your Tezos NFTs into an immersive, walkable exhibition! 🚀 Just input a wallet address (owned or created NFTs), and watch your collection come alive in a customizable 3D space built with Three.js.
What it does:
Explore NFTs in a dynamic gallery: Navigate with WASD/keys or mobile touch controls, orbit views, and click artworks for detailed modals (title, artist, desc, format, Objkt.com link).
Supports images, videos, & audio NFTs with high-res previews via IPFS.
Personalize everything: Change wall colors, floor textures (concrete/wood/marble), frame styles (modern/classic), room layouts (large/narrow).
Extra flair: Ambient music toggle, dark/light themes, fullscreen mode, screenshot export & share, even a "Live View" for fullscreen NFT focus with QR code for easy sharing.
Multi-lang (EN/ES), settings panel, and help overlays for seamless UX.

Every now and then, a story comes along that reminds me why I care so deeply about this space — and about the Tezos community in particular.
This is one of those moments.
While discussing an upcoming exhibition with @RJ16848519 , he proposed a different future for the five (brilliant) unreleased works from his Screen Time series: donating them, so that all the revenue could go toward collecting 1/1 works by emerging artists from the community. Not his exact words — and yes, “emerging artists” is one of those slightly awkward labels we all keep using while wishing for a better one — but that was the spirit.
I was genuinely moved. His feeling was simple: there is so much talent here, so much art that deserves more visibility and care. This was his way of giving back.
So I opened a new digital collecting wallet — currently called Tezos Community Art Collection (name very much open for suggestions 👀).
The five works by RJ will go on auction this Monday. Every tez raised will be used to collect art, curated by a small group coming together this weekend — artists, collectors, and curators — with the intention of building a diverse, thoughtful selection.
This collection won’t belong to any one person, and its future is still open — which feels important. For now, this is simply a first step. The immediate goal is to circulate tez back into the ecosystem by collecting 1/1s on primary, across Tezos platforms.
I’ll share a proper shill post soon. For now, I just wanted to share this story — and RJ’s generosity.
Link to his collection below 🤍
