realizing that me n my partner’s anniversary is the same as Luigi’s mansion and we both love the series waow anyways, riptide was a blast! got to hang out and meet so many new ppl :) almost made top 32, i’ll get there next year, but im proud of my performance either way

being a woman in comp splatoon community is the worst thing imaginable and feels like it’s worse than death sometimes. so much harassment that we face and yet all of it gets pushed aside because the scene is supposedly super “welcoming.” why doesn’t it ever feel like it?

I cannot tell u how many times ppl would flip a switch when they heard my voice. For a little while, I just thought it was normal since it was an experience I had in multiple communities. I grew out of it, but the experiences still stuck with me and have made me more reserved
