I'm all for the sponsorship (congrats) but mid-podcast ad-breaks feel like a violation of my expectation as a subscriber. They should be offered in a lower-price tier membership.

I am astounded that Apple shipped the new Siri in iOS 27 at this low level of quality. - Worse speech recognition - Broken: mixes up AM/PM, fails to complete tasks used to work - Asks a follow-up then stops listening; forgot what it asked - Worse than GPT 3.5 as an AI

New manager? Admire how veteran leaders handle tough convos, and feel like you're not "fluent" in the same language🤔? You're not alone. Books and training teach rules, but don't train your brain. That's where practice comes in. Details in our latest blog: managerspring.com/blog/manag… #Leadership #NewManager #LeadershipCoaching

I have 2 modest proposals: *Mobile operator* that charges calls/SMS outside my contacts a nominal fee and credits my account. No more robo. *Checking account* that requires 2FAC auth to initiate payments (1 time or recurring) why are bank accts less protected than my X acct.

What’s happening within Warner’s software team that the HBOMax ➡️ Max rebrand wasn’t just an app update?

I now have a dilemma of whether to unfollow a bunch of news outlets on Twitter that aren't helpful anymore. That might drastically decrease the freshness of my feed, but what's left will be more concentrated relevance. Hmm.

Artifact is rapidly becoming my go-to for all kinds of news. I'm now realizing how much of my Twitter usage was for curated news, which it did poorly but better than anything else.

I feel like the number of conversations has plummeted and my feed is mostly news outlet bots these days. Blue Sky? Mastodon? Where’d everyone go?

Playing with AI all over the map. Have kicked the tires on some BabyAGI spin-offs but not even sure what prompts should be best or which implementations represent bleeding edge. Suggestions?

So @hbomax is becoming just "max"? Seems like an unforced error at a time when the service is just starting to recover from multiple poor rebrands and confusion between the app / cable channel / etc.

I can count on one hand the number of candidates who gave such good answers out of hundreds of interviews. And none of them produced the answer that quickly. :)

It was definitely not just pulling sample code off stack overflow.

I gave ChatGPT a coding question I used to use. It's a hard multithreading question. It's also unique AFAIK since it was based on code I wrote in 2005. I was amazed that it came up with the ideal solution the first time, and even adapted it to answer all my "extra credits".

Impressive. I gave ChatGPT a pretty tough multithreaded C++ problem to implement a thread-safe completion port function, and a "get" API that waits on the main thread. ChatGPT supplied a perfect answer. Even got some extra credit followups. Better than most candidates. Whoa.

ChatGPT appears down right now but I can't wait to try this now!
