This is a difficult message to share… @jimmynicholsjr5, a former player at @PCFriarsmbb, @VCU_Hoops & @CoastalMBB, has been fighting for his life in Uruguay, where he was playing professionally. Jimmy has undergone several emergency operations and remains in critical condition under 24/7 supervision and care. Over the weekend, doctors warned us to prepare for the worst. Thanks to the incredible efforts of @votetimscott’s office, Jimmy’s parents were able to urgently travel to Uruguay to be by their son’s side. Since their arrival, Jimmy’s outlook has improved greatly. But Jimmy still has a long fight ahead of him — and he and his family need our help. The unforeseen medical, travel and related expenses are staggering. Any contribution, no matter the amount, can make a meaningful difference as his family focuses on Jimmy’s recovery and ultimately bringing him home.
