Life has taught me to be resilient and quiet and let God. Keep doing what you do best but in silence and humility.
Congratulations @LarryMadowo great achievement for our children’s education. @RoomtoRead would love to partner with you.
I hosted an event that raised a modest $3.5 BILLION in 90 minutes at the UN General Assembly in New York! 🤯
It will fund education in 90 lower-income countries so that no child is left behind. My mom was a teacher in rural Kenya so this historic “harambee” is personal to me
Today, I had the priviledge to address 4000+ members at the ongoing #MDRTGlobalConference in Sydney, Australia. Room to Read is proud of the partneship with MDRT Foundation @MDRtweet because we bellieve that World Change Starts with Educated Children. @RoomtoRead

I had an opportunity to represent @RoomtoRead last week at the Cape Town Marathon @Marathonlivetvc running for literacy and gender equality all.
Am reminded of that child we need to support the foundational learning journey, that girl that needs to be told they can make it.

Tokyo reminded me that generosity is a universal language. Our 25th Anniversary Gala raised enough to benefit 20,000 children worldwide. 🌸 Grateful to our Japan Board and Community — and for the snacks! 🍫✨
