JD Vance wrote an entire book about his traumatic childhood but suddenly can't understand why exploiting someone else's childhood trauma is disgusting.
"humanitarian" in action.
Putin personally ordered a new wave of attacks on @NATO countries in Europe. The Leipzig airport plot was one of the opening shots.
Putin was driven by frustration with the stalled negotiations and Ukraine’s deep strikes.

If US national security officials are warning that the president is a threat to elections, then that president is an authoritarian, and we are no longer in a democracy.

Obama and the Democrats mocked Romney for pointing out that Russia was America’s top geopolitical enemy. MAGA mocks anyone who points out Trump’s long-standing connections and loyalty to Putin. Partisanship blinds and Russia benefits.

That noise you hear is Putin and his oligarchs in the Kremlin popping bottles of champaign celebrating their extraordinary success in cultivating and having as their asset the current occupant of the Oval Office who eagerly parrots Kremlin talking points.
This is a dark day.

This proposed plan is absolutely unacceptable.
Here’s what the plan actually does: 36 holes of public golf cut to 18. No more mini golf. No more park. More running / cycling road. No more playground. No more introductory course. Nobody has said a word about the Cherry blossoms.
Who is this actually for? Not the kid learning to golf. Not the family in a walk. Not the birders.
This was never about the public. It’s for the elitists who want a private showcase, and one man’s ego.

You have got to be f**king kidding me… an 18 hole golf course that fully absorbs the entirety of Hains Point. Disgusting and shameful acts by Department of Interior.
We have been saying this for MONTHS.

This entire situation is years in the making.
France built an immigration system that allowed almost unlimited unvetted migration. They overwhelmingly refuse to deport even those who come there illegally. They did nothing about the domestic radicalization that followed. Their black bloc left-wing radicals gladly partner with the religious radicals coming in.
The left-wing French government focused on delivering global lectures to everyone else while doing nothing to address their own problems. Now the bill has come due. The “globalize the intifada” crowd has decided to do what they do. The protest cause was just an excuse.
France is hardly alone. The UK and several other European countries have the same problems. It’s only going to get worse until they start to take it seriously and refocus on solving these issues.
If they won’t, then their entire society will suffer. There are thousands of French citizens that are seeing their lives upended because their government failed them. It will soon become millions. And same will be true of other western countries.

“Instead of running the country and dealing with the world he has set on fire, Trump is focused on settling petty squabbles and a web of corruption in his incompetent—and dangerous—court…..leaving an exhausted public to watch an empire bicker over its own demise.”
Maureen Dowd’s column exposes how Natalie Harp used her access to knife Susie Wiles—showing Trump the Politico Playbook story about Wiles’s daughter profiting from lobbying for Republika Srpska (a pro-Russian Bosnian Serb territory).
But Wiles didn't panic; she let television do her dirty work. When Zacharia was tossed onto Hannity, assuming she was in friendly territory, Hannity ambushed her over her fake attorney claims and 14-minute disaster debut. Within 24 hours, Trump showed Zacharia the door, advising her to "reconsider" her job.
Dowd chronicles a single, breathtaking week of White House corruption and incompetence:
•Kimberly Guilfoyle getting fired as ambassador to Greece after shaking down a donor to pay her $100,000 AmEx bill.
•Ric Grenell and Alina Habba Mildon fighting over $5.6 million in misallocated Kennedy Center funds.
•Pete Hegseth getting shut down over his "nitwit plan" to livestream a military firing squad execution on Twitch.
•Volodymyr Zelenskyy calling out Trump's "sordid deal" with Vladimir Putin over Russian diesel while White House directives throttle Ukraine's Starshield connectivity.
“Instead of running the country and dealing with the world he has set on fire, Trump is focused on settling petty squabbles and a web of corruption in his incompetent—and dangerous—court.”
Trump’s bubble is getting smaller, more ingrown, and more fractious, leaving an exhausted public to watch an empire bicker over its own demise.

We are really in uncharted alleys of dementia here. Spending 80 years in the agony of the closet could actually explain a lot about his penchant for rape and general cruelty.

The question is not "why has Donald betrayed Ukraine?"
The question is "how big a cut of unfrozen Russian assets will Donald get for betraying Ukraine?"
