I was DQ'd at RQ LA for lying to a judge, not for deck manipulation. A floor judge said they saw me pile shuffle my runes vs my rengar opp in round 2. At the start of round 3 I presented my runes for cut without shuffling them at all, which was just careless. When a judge asked if I'd shuffled them, I said no and started to, and he told me to stop. The judges asked if I knew pile shuffling alone isn't enough for the rune deck. I explained to them I genuinely did not. Because of my experience with this game and other card games, they didn't believe me and ruled that I'd lied to them. I also understand that judges have an incredibly difficult job and have to make decisions based on the information in front of them. I put myself in a situation where they had to make that decision because I was sloppy with something I should have been much more careful about. I don't agree that I lied, but I accept the DQ. I didn't stack my runes. I was careless with the randomization of my rune deck, and that's on me.

I just wanna say, while I’m obviously sad about how the finals played out once again, I’m still really happy with how I played this weekend overall. The amount of love and support from my team and everyone rooting for me was honestly overwhelming. Sorry I couldn’t close it out this time, but I promise i will in Singapore.
