Today, I spoke to GBH News about it!
Tomorrow, I hope more people with disabilities fly with dignity. #WheelchairsAreNotLuggage

This is NOT a thing to be celebrated! Why are we not talking about ADA violations instead of trying to spin this as inspirational? – at Norman, OK
Wheelchair are not luggage! Airlines refusal to properly secure wheelchairs must stop. The wait to repair a wheelchair is often an unbearable few months. 🤬airlines disregard for wheelchairs harms a disabled person everyday. Furious the violent disrespect hurt @teresa_nguyen_ 💛 – at Boston, MA

Did you see Roll Call's ableist cartoon yesterday?

Today marks one year since #RoevWade was overturned. Moving forward, disabled people must be included in efforts to protect reproductive freedom. My forthcoming @UCLALawReview article provides a framework for doing so. papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.… – at Norman, OK

More than 40,000 people with disabilities rely on the MassHealth personal care attendant program. But a critical shortage of PCAs is leaving many people, like Malden resident Rhoda Gibson, without care they need to live independently. @GBHNews

Here’s a real life example of how just listening to disabled people can be the difference:
A brief thread.
Over a month ago my power wheelchair was destroyed because I traveled by air. ✈️
Yesterday - over 37 days later- I was told the airline finally ordered a replacement. 🦼
Now let’s guess.. how many more days until @JetBlue gives me back my independence? 🤷🏻♀️

Thank you @Chris_Tanaka for caring and covering my story. Wish I could say @JetBlue cared, but they made it clear over the past 11days that they do not care about disabled travelers. It’s #JustPlaneWrong.

Wow’ I guess the @JetBlue PR department is as clueless as their scheduling department. @CollenFlangan deserves answers, and she deserves her chair repaired ASAP. #WillJetBlueRespond? #shameOnJetBlue people shouldn’t have to out a company on Twitter for something so basic. #11Days

Since you don’t have a timeline, let me share mine with you. After waiting an entire week I am told the damage will only begin to be assessed today. Your lack of urgency is more insulting than the damage itself. This is #JustPlaneWrong.
