How do all, it’s Steve (1 half of the Collective).
Small 🧵
Had a few messages re us & alls grand.
We’re having a wee pause from radio as life is manic.
We’re (me & Tom) are all good.
We’ve been working under this guise for 14yrs, pretty much never stopped inc Covid
We’ll still be carrying on! We’re approaching 15 & still love what we do.
Tom’s actively spinning at DDC every 1st Sunday of the month with the very successful Jazz event which they put on.
I’m also still doing my bits in & around #Brum so we’ll still be representing the brand
but at a slower, maybe more considered pace.
We appreciate folk getting intouch & checking in, v nice to know.
We’ll be back & there’s a wealth of our stuff online to listen again at your leisure plus @BrumRadio carries on!
We’ll see you soon or if out & about

Of sleep, all this whilst also working full time & being a Dad, a partner, friend, son.
It’s all good btw & the wee man is a tough one & cracks on ❤️
Tom is about to become a Dad so he’s now gearing up for that hence why we’re taking a small step back from wireless contact
What a loss.
RIP

Wrote about the overlooked history of Bentley's nightclub, a thriving London soul club located in a far-right stronghold - eventually shutdown by the biggest police raid in the borough's history. Excellent work done by @RendezvousCIC to bring this to life. theguardian.com/music/2023/j…
