Just bought a @CyberKongz! It is my first Kong ever, I never had one before. I was also never active in their community or had any connection to the team. Still, due to my activities in the NFT environment, I was given the chance to take part in their $Kong airdrop claim. For free! I was there right on time, but it didn't work. Well, no surprise - I hardly remember any airdrop or TGE that worked flawlessly. So, I went into the Kong's discord to find out if other people were experiencing the same issues. They did. Pretty soon, some users and mods figured out the issue and explained how to claim. It worked. It was about 1h later than initially planned, but I got my tokens. Checking back on X, I see half of the timeline dunking on the team and fudding the shit out of them. Some of those posts are deleted by now, many are still out. While I can understand people's frustration in some way, I'll never understand people's urge to go out after something doesn't work immediately (without even first trying to find a solution by themselves) and spread hate and bad vibes about something they actually get for FREE. However, I'm thankful for the opportunity and thank the whole Kong team for the transparency throughout the whole time. I bought a Kong and will vault it. I also doubled down on $Kong and staked it.
