A few more snaps from the panel discussion at The Lord Mayor’s Philanthropy Coffee Colloquy at Mansion House.
It was great to meet the other panellists & share the power of #collectivephilanthropy.

Thank you for having us ☕️

We also know that at times of crisis, working together – across sectors and across communities – is even more important than ever. We will continue working with our network of funders, civil society organisations and community groups for a just and fairer future.

We know that funders also play a critical role in supporting community organisations during this time, offering flexibility, care and trust.
Our work with @IVAR_UK on funders' responses to emergencies and terror attacks offers some useful learning funders can draw on to continue supporting their civil society partners londonfunders.org.uk/resourc…

We echo @RunnymedeTrust and other anti-racist and migrant rights organisations’ calls for the Government to have zero tolerance for racist and anti-migrant narratives

With 80 anti-racist and migrant rights organisations, we've written to @Keir_Starmer asking for Parliament to be recalled to address the scale of this crisis.
The new govt must change the dial, and foster zero tolerance for far-right, racist and anti-migrant narratives.

London - and the nation's - diversity is one of our greatest strengths. No one should be made to feel unsafe leaving their home, practising their religion or because of the community they belong to.

The racist and Islamophobic violence taking place across the country over the last few days is reprehensible. We stand in solidarity with the people and communities impacted by these violent attacks.
We're offering a new space to make our ambition for joint action a reality. Opening out a range of opportunities to do funding differently and more equitably, and overcome some of the long-standing challenges which currently can inhibit collaboration

"The Collaboration Circle is providing a neutral space where new and innovative ideas, practices, and culture can thrive, outside the limits of entrenched barriers that may exist within individual organisations." - @MABSnr

When we spoke to funders, it was apparent that there are still too many barriers to creating truly collaborative spaces where they can work with others to design, learn and make funding decisions together
You can read more about how Collaboration Circle makes it easier to pool money across different geographies and boundaries, across the funding and social justice sectors
