Special Drive for Enrolment of New and Left-Out Voters in 16-Maem Assembly Constituency In pursuance of the directions of the Collector and District Election Officer, North Goa, a special voter enrolment drive is being conducted on 7th, 8th and 9th October 2026 across the 16-Maem Assembly Constituency. Under the initiative of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), 16-Maem AC, special enrolment camps are being organised at various polling stations, Government Polytechnic, Maem, and Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Maem, to facilitate the enrolment of first-time voters, young voters and eligible citizens whose names have been left out of the electoral roll. As part of the drive, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are also undertaking house-to-house verification to identify left-out electors and facilitate submission of Form 6 applications for eligible citizens. The initiative aims to ensure comprehensive electoral coverage and provide accessible enrolment facilities to every eligible citizen in the constituency. The ERO and AERO, 16-Maem AC, have appealed to all eligible citizens, particularly young and first-time voters, to avail themselves of these facilities and ensure inclusion of their names in the electoral roll. @Coll_NorthGoa @CEO_Goa

The monthly NCORD meeting was convened to review drug seizures in North Goa, awareness initiatives undertaken by various departments, and measures being implemented to curb drug abuse and eradicate the drug menace from society. The meeting emphasised coordinated efforts among departments to strengthen enforcement, enhance public awareness and work towards a drug-free society. @Coll_NorthGoa
