🚨 Portland, I’m coming home 🚨
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve accepted a job offer with KATU-2 in Portland, Oregon. I will produce the weekday morning show.
My first day at KATU-2 is July 7th. My last day with KOAT-7 in Albuquerque, New Mexico is June 11th.

On a night when Oregon's offense was stuck in neutral the entire night, here is Dylan Raiola leading a masterful game-winning drive down the field to win the game for the Ducks.
Agreed. The big 10 and sec are beating each other up.
Somehow the ducks get the shaft.
But the two losses we took are really, really bad.
Oregon is playing without their quarterback and nobody says a word. Bounced from the rankings. If Ohio State loses with Julian Sayin hurt, there'll be all sorts of concessions. There's a clear double standard, and it's staring us right in the face.

Neyland set the college football record at 130.3 decibels against Alabama. (Capacity: 101k)
But in 2007 Oregon set a program record at 127.2 decibels. (Capacity: 54k)
Imagine if Autzen was 100K

Update on the Evan Stewart situation — Let’s pump the brakes on the screenshots going around.
Here's what's real as of this morning. Stewart was booked into the Springfield jail around 7 AM Sunday on a DUII charge and released about an hour later to Dakorien Moore. That's now confirmed by the jail itself, KATU, the Daily Emerald, and Reuters is carrying it. Oregon athletics says they're "gathering information." That's the confirmed part. One player, one charge.
Now the screenshots. You've probably seen them — the text messages claiming street racing, six-plus players, felonies, warrants, all of it. I looked into it: Springfield police told The Oregonian those rumors are "unfounded." Their word, not mine.
What actually happened: there WAS a separate police pursuit that night. The drivers were never identified. Police contacted several Oregon players because they were in the area — not because they were suspects — and none of them are facing charges. That pursuit is unrelated to Stewart's arrest, and police aren't even pursuing that case anymore.
And Dakorien Moore? He wasn't arrested. He was the guy who showed up to bring his teammate home. His name is in this story because he did Stewart a solid, not because he did anything wrong.
One more piece of context, because it matters: this isn't the first DUII in that building this year. Running backs coach Ra'Shaad Samples was charged with DUII and reckless driving back in April, and his next court date is October 27.
So here's where I'm at. One Duck made a serious mistake and got charged for it — that's real, and the discipline question from this morning still stands. But the felony talk, the warrant talk, the "six other Ducks" talk — that's a game of telephone the actual police department just shot down.
Don’t rely on screen shots on social media for your info, I'll update this as real information comes out.

Oregon Ducks Evan Stewart was booked on a DUII early on Sunday morning.
Springfield Police Dept. tells me that this arrest was unrelated to a street-racing incident in Springfield, and they have no reason to believe that Oregon players were involved.

There is absolutely no way a team is ever planting in Mexico City. Travel, safety, and economics make that nearly impossible.
You’re telling me you’re going to have guys living in Mexico City 6 months out of the year? Then you’re going to play games at over 7200 feet? Oh and traveling back and forth through there regularly? How this is being used as any kind of leverage is absolutely bonkers.
Seattle is no longer considered a lock for an NBA expansion team, Adam Silver has informed team owners, per @WindhorstESPN.
The league is reportedly using Mexico City as a potential alternative to pressure Seattle’s bidding group into raising its offer.

Tyson Helton (WKU)
Charlie Weis Jr (LSU)
Jonathan Brewer (Duke)
Andy Kotelnicki (Kansas)
Mike Norvell (FSU)
The thing about the Ducks these past few years… There have been a lot of big wins. A championship is the standard.
But the losses have been some the worst imaginable. I’m not even talking the playoffs last year.
UW twice in 23 and in 22?
OSU in 24-25
Beavs in 22
OkSt this yr!
Sit down.
Replying to @GeauxDuck
I remeber when a ranked team went into Boone Pickens and got beat by a team that hadn't won a p4 game in 2 yrs. I dont think theres anything more humbling or embarrassing than that
