My sincere thanks to everyone who posted kind messages following my appearance on ITV Good Morning Great Britain. And particularly Richard and Charlotte the interviewers. It was really all about the RAF and Will Iredale’s superb book “The Pathfinders”.F/L Colin S Bell DFC AE.

Looking back 78 years and remembering when, walking towards Hampton Court Bridge, a German aircraft dropped a bomb on the other side of the road to me. More to follow.

Good job it was a small bomb or I wouldn’t be here tonight. So I thought I would apply to join the RAF in the hope I might catch up with the Hun. Of course I never did but it was the start of some amazing adventures. – at Royal Tunbridge Wells, England
