We can do this if we come together
Dlamini says black people should establish a trust fund to finance legal battles and support business development within black communities. He points out that Xolani Zuma of March and March currently uses his own money to represent members of the movement in court, arguing that such a fund would ensure Zuma receives financial support to cover legal costs on behalf of the organisation.
Malawian National Arrested After Police Recover R8 Million In Jeans In Kensington, Johannesburg
A 46-year-old Malawian national has been arrested after police recovered approximately 1,700 bales of jeans worth an estimated R8 million during an intelligence-driven operation in Kensington, Johannesburg.
According to the South African Police Service (SAPS), officers acted on information that a man was in possession of goods allegedly stolen during a robbery in the Johannesburg CBD.
Police followed up on the information at an address in Kensington, where they found a Ford Ranger believed to be linked to the robbery, along with five bales of jeans.
Further investigations led officers to a self-storage facility in the area. A search of two storage units uncovered approximately 1,700 bales of jeans, bringing the estimated value of the recovered goods to R8 million.
The suspect was arrested at the scene.
SAPS said investigations are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged robbery and the origin of the recovered goods.
Members of the public with information about criminal activities are urged to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or report incidents through the MySAPS App.

Only 20k people have signed??? Guys, why aren’t you signing the petition? 😭 Does this mean you actually want these people in your neighbourhoods, or are you just going to keep complaining on Twitter and expecting someone else to do something about it? Ay, guys, you can’t keep demanding change and then go quiet when it’s time to actually do something. This is what I mean when I talk about armchair activism!

So Chief Samuel Mashaba was buried today. He was apparently born on 20 July 1978, that makes him 48 years old. He was a year older than Commissioner Khumalo, who is 47 years old.
In one of the probings when he was testifying, Commissioner Khumalo was asking him how and when he got to know about the Threema and Telegram apps that he and Tumelo Nku started using, switching from WhatsApp. Didn't he get visibly shocked and almost upset when Commissioner Khumalo said "surely Chief Mashaba you are far older than me, and I'm surprised that you knew about these apps. I didn't know about them before I started here at the Commission. Even Chair didn't know about them". Chair Madlanga responded "Speak for yourself.." 🤣🤣😂
Mashaba didn't get a chance to clarify the assumed age difference because everyone was laughing at Chair's response, and I think Advocate Seegels-Ncube immediately moved on to the next question.
We'll have so many stories and memories from this Commission. RIP Mashaba, amper jail was waiting for you with the Aeroton Drug Bust. 😒
