Letter received from @EssexPoliceUK Chief Constable @BJH251 in responding the letter I sent him following my shift with @ColProactive in #Colchester town centre. He rightly praises @SgtStuartAustin and his team. Brilliant that we are increasing Police Officer numbers in Essex.

My letter to the Chief Constable of Essex Police following my time in Colchester on the late shift last week. The officers I spent time with are a credit to Essex Police and I offer my sincere thanks, it was an honour to spend time with them when out policing our town centre.

After all the excitement of the launch of @EssexPoliceUK Town Centre Teams I spent some time on patrol with PC Lewis Aleta in Colchester - his enthusiasm, compassion & professionalism that I observed dealing with some of our most vulnerable will be what makes the work.
