A sad day, a hard day, and a day that we can never, ever forget despite how quickly our world is evolving, changing, and sliding into the future. My mind is with so many people I know who were affected by those heinous actions that left a permanent stain on all of humanity. May God bless them all and everyone affected far and wide. I read a prayer this morning that Fr. Mychal Judge, the first confirmed casualty, the chaplain of the @FDNY, and a @StBonaventure graduate, would recite every day. Feels appropriate to re-share that here: “Lord, take me where you want me to go, Let me meet who you want me to meet; Tell me what you want me to say, and Keep me out of your way. Amen.”
