ALL THOSE JUSTIFYING POLICE ACTIONS BY CIRCULATING PICTURES OF SCUFFLES MUST ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS! Who was actually disturbing the peace the peaceful protesters or the police allegedly manhandling, hitting and dragging them under the garb of performing their duties? Who made the first move towards confrontation? Who advanced towards the peaceful protesters? And why are isolated pictures being used to construct a narrative without showing what happened before, during and after the scuffles? Why were journalists detained? Why were protesters allegedly subjected to physical force when they objected to such treatment and continued their peaceful protest? And most importantly, under what legal authority was a woman taken to an unidentified location? Was due process followed? Was her safety, dignity and legal rights protected? If the protest was peaceful and the authorities were acting lawfully, WHY FEAR A PROTEST? Do not selectively circulate pictures to justify actions. Show the complete footage, establish the sequence of events, identify who initiated the confrontation, and let the facts speak for themselves. A photograph cannot replace the truth. A uniform does not place anyone above the law. And a peaceful protest is not a crime. Jai Hind!! #RightToProtest #FreedomOfExpression #PoliceAccountability #RuleOfLaw #Democracy #Justice

THE FRUSTRATION IS GROWING AND SO IS THE DETERMINATION TO STAND UP FOR OUR RIGHTS! It is shocking to see media personalities with massive followings allegedly pushing distorted narratives to portray a simple, peaceful protest as “anti-national.” Reports of people being arrested for carrying or displaying the Tricolour raise serious questions about the freedom to express dissent in a democracy. Onto the contrary there are people having criminal records and having accusations of serious crimes are becoming Governor , ministers and Chief ministers. If peaceful protesters are branded anti-national, their voices suppressed, and their right to protest restricted to designated locations where public visibility is diminished or made conditional on their ability to bear the cost then we must ask: Are we protecting democracy, or making the exercise of fundamental rights increasingly difficult? But for how long? And how many voices can be silenced? THIS IS NEW INDIA A NEW GENERATION THAT UNDERSTANDS ITS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, MORAL VALUES AND CIVIC DUTIES. I personally witnessed the josh and determination of this generation. And let me make one thing clear: this movement does not depend on a single leader. There is not just one Neha, one Abhijeet, or one Saurav. There are many. When citizens stand for their rights with courage and conviction, no single individual needs to lead every voice. A generation that understands its responsibilities can stand together peacefully and constitutionally. The right to peaceful assembly and protest is not a favour granted by any government. It is a fundamental right, subject to the reasonable restrictions permitted by the Constitution. Any restriction must stand the test of legality, necessity and constitutional accountability. Let every head of an institution remember: the oath is to the Constitution, not to the political convenience of any government. Public institutions exist to serve the people, and those entrusted with public power must remain accountable under the Constitution and the law irrespective of their rank, office or appointment. For me, THE NATION COMES FIRST ABOVE INDIVIDUALS, POSITIONS AND POLITICAL POWER. Do not manufacture anti-national narratives to discredit peaceful dissent. Do not confuse criticism of those in power with disloyalty to the country. And do not mistake the silence of a fearful citizen for the consent of a free people. THE TRICOLOUR BELONGS TO EVERY INDIAN. THE CONSTITUTION BELONGS TO EVERY CITIZEN. AND DEMOCRACY CANNOT SURVIVE IF PEACEFUL VOICES ARE TREATED AS A THREAT. DON’T FABRICATE THE VOICES. LISTEN TO THEM. RESPECT THEIR RIGHTS. ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS. ARE WE SLOWLY KILLING OUR DEMOCRACY? My concern is not merely about the present government, but about the dangerous precedents being set for the future. If one government misuses executive power, conducts investigations without transparency, or allegedly maintains undisclosed files to influence people, what stops the next government from doing the same? A change of government must not mean a change of rulers practising the same methods. Fundamental rights, freedom of expression, privacy and democratic dissent cannot become casualties of political power. When serious questions are raised, why not answer them through a press conference, transparent disclosures or RTI? Silence only deepens public distrust. Democracy survives when citizens question authority not when they blindly defend it. Regardless of which party governs, every unconstitutional practice and every misuse of power must be opposed peacefully and lawfully. Our responsibility as citizens begins within our own 100 metres. Speak up. Ask questions. Demand accountability. Defend democracy. JAI HIND!! 🚨 WAKE-UP CALL! — SILENCE IS NOT INNOCENCE To everyone who has witnessed corruption, abuse of authority, or wrongdoing within your institution and chosen to remain silent: your silence protects the wrongdoers and allows corruption to survive. Those who plan, facilitate, execute, conceal, or deliberately suppress evidence of wrongdoing must be exposed through facts, evidence, and lawful means. Those who know the truth must find the courage to speak up rather than become silent spectators. Remember, corruption does not survive on the strength of the corrupt alone; it thrives when honest people look away. When you know the truth but deliberately choose silence, you become part of the problem. Silence in the face of injustice is not loyalty. Protecting the guilty at the cost of truth is not discipline. And turning a blind eye to wrongdoing is a betrayal of the institution, its values, and the people who place their trust in it. ⚖️ BREAK THE SILENCE. EXPOSE THE WRONGDOING. PROTECT THE TRUTH. Integrity demands courage. Accountability demands action. And the nation deserves better. #BreakTheSilence #ExposeCorruption #Accountability #InstitutionalIntegrity #StandForTruth #Whistleblower #Justice #ZeroToleranceForCorruption #CourageOverComfort #NationFirst #JaiHind

HISTORY IS BEING MADE: WHEN THE MEDIA BECOMES AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE! In today’s India, even organising a protest can feel like a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. You may need thousands of rupees perhaps ₹50,000 or more in advance for permissions, bookings and arrangements, subject to clearance. Meanwhile, questions are being raised about political funding, public money, and the construction of lavish party headquarters. And if citizens still manage to overcome every hurdle and successfully raise their voices in protest, sections of the media may be quick to brand them “anti-government” or even “anti-national.” When questioning those in power is portrayed as a crime, democracy itself is put on trial. A democracy cannot survive on political propaganda, selective journalism, and the silencing of dissent. The media must hold power accountable not intimidate citizens into silence. Remember: - A protest is not treason. - Criticism of the government is not anti-nationalism. - Journalism is not public relations for those in power. - The right to dissent is the lifeblood of democracy. A nation is not weakened when its citizens question the government. It is weakened when its institutions stop questioning those who govern. The real question is no longer whether citizens have a voice but whether they are still allowed to use it without being demonised. Jai Hind! Col Amit Kumar (Retd) Veteran & Advocate

🚨 OPEN ADVISORY, ALARMING WARNING & CALL FOR ACCOUNTABILITY Pl Share in public interest ! #JusticeForColAnnuDogra OFFICERS, THINK BEFORE YOU SIGN ANY AFFIDAVIT. Do not let the mischief of yes-men compromise your integrity, career, or legal standing. During a recent court hearing, it was represented on behalf of an officer that no instructions regarding confinement had been issued, despite documentary evidence that appears to contradict this submission. There are only two possibilities that require serious examination: either the officer does not understand the legal meaning & implications of confinement, or the court has been misinformed despite the available record. The documentary evidence speak, and accountability will follow wherever responsibility is established. I am prepared to initiate appropriate criminal proceedings against the officer concerned, by the evidence and law. This is not an isolated concern. Earlier, the Court was allegedly misbriefed about me in a manner that raised serious concerns about an attempt to influence proceedings and portray me as someone defaming the Indian Army. My RTI queries remain unanswered. A legal notice has been served, and the officer concerned has forwarded it to the DV Branch, Western Command. Why should innocent officers and their families suffer because of the actions, omissions, or misguided advice of those responsible? I appeal to the @adgpi and @westerncomd_IA to ensure that officers who have no involvement are not unnecessarily targeted. At the same time, those who make misleading submissions or misuse their authority must be held accountable through a fair and independent process. EXPECT COMMANDERS WHO PASSED THE ORDERS HAVE GUTS NOW TO CONVEY TRUTH!! BRIG KARNAIL SINGH , MAJ GEN GILL AND NOW THE NEW ONES! " ENGLISH" , WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND LAW ARE CLEAR ! @PMOIndia @DefenceMinIndia are these serious concerns being ignored, or does the Government endorse this approach? The nation deserves clarity, not silence. Does “Beti Bachao” extend to women in the Armed Forces? When a serving woman officer and her family are fighting for dignity, justice, and protection, should they have to seek protection from the very institution they have served? THEY MISLEAD @NCWIndia @India_NHRC They believed, Because they respect Uniform! But Facts are on ground now ! The Armed Forces stand for honour, integrity, discipline, and truth. These values cannot be selective. Rank must not shield wrongdoing, and loyalty must never mean unquestioning silence. Protect the innocent. Stop institutional victimisation. Uphold the rule of law. Ensure accountability. COAS HAS TO ENSURE THAT The protection of a woman officer must not become a battle against her own institution. Justice for Col Annu Dogra. Truth before hierarchy. Accountability before excuses. #JusticeForColAnnuDogra #Accountability #MilitaryJustice #WomenInUniform #RuleOfLaw @INCIndia @RahulGandhi @ColRohitChaudry @AnumaVidisha @LambaAlka @manaman_chhina @police_haryana @AmbalaPolice

WHEN WILL THEY REALISE THAT COMMAND IS NOT A JOKE? Command is not about ego, intimidation, privileges or unquestioned obedience. Man management is not done through arrogance, threats, or the danda. It is done through integrity, fairness, transparency, and personal example. Officers of the Armed Forces are trained to lead from the front. But leadership is not merely about rank, stars on the shoulders, or the authority to issue orders. A true leader must first prove himself through his own conduct before expecting his troops to follow him. Respect cannot be commanded; it has to be earned. When leadership is honest, transparent and unbiased, comradeship follows naturally, and loyalty comes from the heart. Suppressing uncomfortable voices by accusing veterans of “defaming the Army” is not a solution. Raising legitimate concerns, demanding accountability and questioning the misuse of authority are not acts against the institution. @adgpi please convey this message to the appropriate authorities. Stop relying on yes-men, intimidation and a culture of unquestioning compliance. Open a meaningful dialogue with veterans. Listen, examine the facts, and act fairly. Military leadership must inspire confidence, not fear. Every person deserves dignity. Those who serve in uniform are trained to value honour, integrity, comradeship and leadership by example. START WITH TRANSPARENCY IN THE AWARD OF THE PVSM SERIES OF HONOURS. Examine the applicable regulations, eligibility criteria, recommendations and selection processes. If the process is fair, transparent scrutiny will strengthen its credibility. If irregularities exist, they must be identified and addressed in accordance with the rules. Honours must reflect distinguished service and merit not privilege, proximity to power or personal connections. And what about accountability for alleged misconduct by officers? I had shared a video concerning Col RP Singh of 40 Artillery Division, in which he was alleged to have abused a veteran and another individual. If the video and allegations warranted scrutiny, why was a fair and impartial inquiry not initiated, or its outcome not made transparent? @UpendraAZ Transparency cannot be selective. Accountability cannot stop at the level of the subordinate. Nor can the institution demand unquestioning respect from veterans while appearing indifferent to their grievances. Unfortunately, even the veteran community must introspect. Those who speak for veterans must do so with independence, courage and integrity not merely to protect personal privileges, appointments or access to authority. The troops are educated. Veterans have experience. They understand the difference between discipline and intimidation, between legitimate command and the misuse of authority, and between genuine leadership and the expectation of unquestioning submission. Look within before lecturing others. Apply the same standards to yourself that you expect from your subordinates. Earn respect through conduct. The Armed Forces do not need a culture of fear. They need a culture of trust. They do not need yes-men. They need principled professionals who can speak the truth without fear of retaliation. They do not need leadership driven by ego. They need commanders whose fairness and integrity make their men proud to follow them. Rank gives you authority. Conduct gives you credibility. Integrity earns you respect. And justice sustains the institution. The message is simple: Stop suppressing questions. Stop hiding behind the institution's reputation. Start practising the transparency and accountability that you preach. RESPECT VETERANS. RESPECT YOUR TROOPS. LEAD BY EXAMPLE. HOLD EVERYONE ACCOUNTABLE—WITHOUT FEAR OR FAVOUR. Jai Hind!
