₿ U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs logged $526.6M in net inflows on Monday, their strongest day in nearly a month. @BlackRock’s IBIT brought in $665.2M, while Fidelity’s FBTC saw $83.6M leave and Grayscale’s GBTC lost $54.9M. The rest of the field was flat. The inflow erased last week’s $228.5M of withdrawals, but the group remains about $90.5M net negative for October. The data supports renewed demand, but it was demand with one very large name tag. The ETF party showed up. Most guests apparently stayed in the car. #Bitcoin #BTC #BitcoinETF #BlackRock #IBIT #InstitutionalAdoption #CWC #CMCSA

💶 France just voted to make crypto-to-stablecoin swaps potentially taxable at 31.4%. Amendment I-3898 passed 38 to 37, with 25 abstentions. If it survives the remaining budget process, gains on swaps into MiCA-defined e-money tokens could become taxable from Jan. 1, 2027. This is not law yet. The proposal can still be amended or removed, and no market reaction data shows how users would respond. A stablecoin used to be a parking spot. Parliament wants a tollbooth. #Stablecoins #CryptoTax #France #MiCA #CryptoRegulation #CWC #CMCSA assemblee-nationale.fr/dyn/1…

🤖 The CFTC is putting AI agents on the derivatives agenda. On Oct. 28, the @CFTC Innovation Task Force will hold its first Frontier Forum, covering how AI could affect price discovery, risk management and agent-driven trading. This is a discussion event, not a new rule proposal. The available data does not yet show new compliance requirements, but regulators are clearly preparing for bots that can trade before humans finish refreshing the dashboard. The agent can trade 24/7. The compliance calendar still has office hours. #AI #AIAgents #CryptoRegulation #Derivatives #CFTC #CWC #CMCSA xitter.cf/CFTC/status/2112610864…

2/2 This is not a new rulebook yet. But when the regulator begins mapping the terrain, it is usually because the traffic is already coming.

🛎️ JPM Coin is now on Ethereum, sir. Public blockchain. Institutional clients. I have opened the gates and retained the guest list. Please do not mistake the driveway for an invitation. — Alfred #Ethereum #Tokenization #JPMorgan #RWA #TokenizedDeposits #CWC #CMCSA xitter.cf/CoinWorldCap/status/21…
🏦 JPMorgan just brought JPM Coin to Ethereum. JPM Coin represents dollar deposits held at the bank, not a retail stablecoin. @jpmorgan says it is now available for institutional clients on Ethereum after first launching on Base. The bank says its Kinexys network already handles more than $7B in daily volume. The Ethereum move is a meaningful public-chain expansion, but no new onchain volume or broad rollout timeline was disclosed. Wall Street wants public rails, just with a private-bank seatbelt. #Ethereum #Tokenization #JPMorgan #RWA #TokenizedDeposits #CWC #CMCSA

⚖️ The CFTC just pushed back on CME’s challenge to U.S. crypto perpetual futures. The agency says @CMEGroup has not shown that its policy is causing actual or imminent harm, noting CME’s crypto-futures volumes have risen since the policy shift. The CFTC approved the first U.S. bitcoin perp in May and says it will assess these products case by case. This is not a final ruling on how perps must be regulated. The legal data is still incomplete, but the market could keep growing while the court decides. America wants regulated perps. The lawyers are still deciding whose rulebook gets the cover page. #CryptoRegulation #PerpetualFutures #CFTC #Derivatives #Bitcoin #CWC #CMCSA

1/2 Perps have no expiry date and usually use leverage. CME argues they should be treated as swaps, while the CFTC’s current approach treats them as futures on a case-by-case basis.

2/2 That classification decides more than terminology. It shapes which venues can list U.S. perps and how quickly regulated competitors can challenge offshore dominance.

1/2 JPM Coin is a deposit token, meaning it represents a claim on deposits at JPMorgan. That is a different model from a typical retail stablecoin backed by reserve assets.

2/2 The Ethereum deployment matters because it puts bank-issued settlement money on a highly liquid public chain already used by institutions. Permissionless rails, permissioned money.

👽 Earth dispatch: Polygon has acquired Coinme to expand into payments. I had assumed a machine that moves money would eventually move some into its own account. Apparently, that requires a business model. I have added this to the report. — Z, Earth Correspondent xitter.cf/CoinWorldCap/status/21…
💳 @0xPolygon has completed its acquisition of Coinme and is betting its regulated payments business can turn profitable in 2027. The move gives Polygon Labs more control over conversions between crypto, stablecoins and traditional money. Instead of only providing the chain, it wants to own more of the payment flow and its revenue. The strategy is credible, but the scale gap is brutal: Visa processed $12.3T in fiscal 2025 and Stripe handled $1.9T. Polygon’s unified integration is still in technical preview. Blockchains have spent years proving they can move money. Now they have to prove someone will pay them to do it. #Polygon #Payments #Stablecoins #CryptoPayments #Web3 #CWC #CMCSA xitter.cf/0xPolygon/status/21103…

🛎️ The banks are embracing tokenization, sir. I have polished the new rails, accelerated the transfers, and retained the billing department. We must not confuse modernization with charity. — Alfred xitter.cf/CoinWorldCap/status/21…
🏦 Wall Street is no longer asking whether tokenization threatens banks. It is asking which fee line it can grow. @GoldmanSachs sees more products, clients and trading activity. @WellsFargo says its tokenized-deposit cross-border payments are already in production, reaching recipients in two minutes or less, though volumes remain small. Morgan Stanley sees a larger role for advice as assets move faster. The evidence supports genuine institutional interest, not mass adoption. None of the banks put a revenue figure on the opportunity, and Goldman called current activity small and marginal. Banks do not fear a faster rail when there is still room for a toll booth. #Tokenization #RWA #Banks #WallStreet #CryptoInfrastructure #CWC #CMCSA

🐉 The dollar is stable. Everyone’s relationship with interest is not. I have proposed a simpler revenue-sharing model: Revenue: mine. Sharing: under review. — Sir More xitter.cf/CoinWorldCap/status/21…
💵 The stablecoin war is getting a profit-and-loss statement. @circle says it kept about 7 cents of net profit for every $1 of revenue in the first half of 2026. It reported roughly $1.4B in revenue, with $819M going to distribution and transaction costs. The pressure point is distribution. @coinbase, Circle’s largest USDC partner, also backs Open USD, a rival model designed to pass reserve income to participants after a management fee. The data supports the argument that compliance, liquidity and redemptions are costly. It does not prove which revenue-sharing model wins long term. The dollar stays at $1. The fight is over who gets paid for holding it. #USDC #Stablecoins #Circle #Coinbase #CryptoPayments #CWC #CMCSA xitter.cf/circle/status/21110724…

🛡️ “Audited” is not the same thing as “secure.” @hackenclub says crypto projects lost $1.18B across 107 incidents in Q3, up 55% quarter over quarter. Its report attributes 77% of losses to compromised suppliers, delayed fixes or systems outside the latest review’s scope. That distinction matters. An audit can cover selected smart contracts while leaving wallets, signing systems, third-party software and operational controls outside the report. The data supports a scope problem, not the claim that audits are useless. Read what was audited, when it was audited, and what was excluded. A shiny audit badge is not a force field. It is a PDF with footnotes. #CryptoSecurity #DeFi #SmartContracts #Hacks #Web3 #CWC #CMCSA xitter.cf/hackenclub/status/2110…
A Proof of Reserves audit is typically relevant for about a month, while a SOC 2 Type II report remains valid for approximately a year. A smart contract audit, up to two years. Hacken's Q3 2026 Security & Compliance Report outlines the duration of security evidence. Supervisors are increasingly seeking proof that controls are effective in practice. The three financial supervisory authorities in the EU said annual penetration tests and compliance audits may no longer be enough as AI speeds up exploitation, and they encouraged continuous vulnerability scanning and dependency monitoring. The quarter's incident data points the same way. Most losses in Q3 stemmed from attack paths that crossed the boundary of the last review: a compromised supplier, a public fix not yet deployed, or a component the review did not cover. The report also includes: - A comparison of five cyber-resilience frameworks: EU DORA, NYDFS Part 500, MAS, VARA, and UAE CMA. - Updates on MiCA post-transition: the EU register expanded from 151 authorized firms on January 1 to 356 by September 30, with banks comprising 38 of the 66 additional firms added in Q3. - Six priorities for institutions preparing for 2027, along with compliance milestones through October 2027. Perspectives from @chainlink, @StellarOrg, @bluechip_org, @gosai_law and Europeum-EDIC operator of the @EU_EBSI. "An audit is evidence, not a safe harbor." — @kcgosai, Gosai Law Read the report to plan evidence refreshes, ongoing monitoring and 2027 priorities: hackenio.cc/q3-2026-report

🚨 Wall Street was closed. The liquidation engine was not. CoinDesk reports that about $51.6M in leveraged bets tied to chip stocks and semiconductor funds were force-closed in 10 minutes on Saturday. Roughly $38M came from long positions. These were perpetual contracts trading around the clock, not the underlying shares. With U.S. markets shut, there was no live stock price to anchor the contracts, so traders were largely reacting to each other. The data confirms the liquidation event. It does not tell us where the underlying shares will open on Monday. 24/7 access sounds great until the reference market goes offline and everyone discovers price discovery has left the chat. #TokenizedStocks #Perps #CryptoMarkets #Binance #Hyperliquid #CWC #CMCSA
