Sitting here today reflecting on the journey CoinLords started as an idea back in 2017 while I was running my Bitcoin mining farm👨‍🌾👀 In 2024, it reached a simple moment of truth: Either build it... or stop talking about it. So I published Issue #1. 🔥🔥🔥 Then a conversation with @ProofofInk during @CdnBitcoinConf sparked the idea which led to the cover of @Stackchainmag Issue #8. Today, that limited-edition EPIC FOIL cover is printed, published And it's also lighting up one of the most iconic billboards in North America, right in the heart of Music City. 🚀 Feeling incredibly grateful today. We're just getting started. ⚔️

Designing the cover for StackChain Issue #8 wasn't about slapping characters together randomly 🔥 Every placement had to answer specific questions; Who's attacking, or defending? Who stands together, or alone? Who's an aggressor, or retreating? The original concept had the Bear bursting onto the scene like a Godzilla movie 🦖 A moment of chaos: "run, find cover!" vibes But then I realized, that's not the story. Bear markets don't stop Bitcoin, nor do they stop Meme Team 8 🦾 @Stackchainmag That single decision changed the entire composition, and ultimately became the cover that went to print. Meme Team 8 stands strong regardless of temporary fiat market swings, just like the true Bitcoin Community as a whole does. This led to the design you see on the printed cover, relentless resistance, to stop is not an option. 👀 ⚔️📖

One of my favorite parts of creating characters is feeling inspired from unexpected places and evolving it into something new. When designing Goat for @Stackchainmag Issue #8, I was pulled towards the robotic Dogs from Black Mirror's Metalhead, Season 4, Ep5. Not because I wanted Goat to look like them. Because I wanted him to feel relentless. Deadly. Focused. The kind of presence that makes your brain immediately say: "That's a real problem." Small in size. Massive in impact. 🐐⚔️ @tachirahomestd
