President Trump says Zelenskyy doesn't want to end this war and probably never did. That was the bluntest line in a long Truth Social post Sunday afternoon where Trump explained why he waived the new Russia sanctions on Friday, and his reasoning is worth hearing in full instead of just the headlines. Trump gave two reasons. First, he says peace talks are making great progress, including hostage negotiations, and he doesn't want to drive Russia away from the table. Second, and I think this is the part people are missing, he says Russia is doing very little to help Iran compared to what it could be doing, and he wants to keep it that way. With our fight with Iran still unsettled and Russia's foreign minister Sergey Lavrov expected in Tehran on Monday, that is not a small thing. He also hit Zelenskyy for striking Russian diesel refineries, which he says is hurting diesel markets here at home, and our farmers and ranchers are feeling it. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said on ABC Sunday that Russia exports zero diesel today and called the waiver a carrot: ease up on the war and that diesel can flow to world markets. Not every Republican is sold. Mike Rogers in Michigan said he would have supported keeping the sanctions and worries about the optics. I understand the concern, but I would rather have a president willing to use every lever to end a war and bring prices down than one who keeps writing checks with no end in sight. Lavrov's trip to Tehran this week will tell us a lot. See the link to the article in the comments. Hmm.

Imagine a Republican Senate candidate who once published a medical paper about "interethnic mating." The media would never let it go. Well, Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, who wants to be Michigan's next U.S. senator, co-wrote exactly that kind of paper in 2011, and it's only now getting attention. The study looked at about 21,600 births in Michigan and found that Arab-American mothers with non-Arab partners had higher odds of preterm birth. It even reviews the old genetic explanations for interracial couples, mentioning "black father, white mother" by name. To be fair, the paper says social factors like stress and discrimination likely explain most of the difference, and it doesn't tell anyone who to marry. But the language is there in black and white. My point is the double standard. Conservatives get called racist for far less, and the press would be digging through every line of this if he had an R next to his name. Instead, El-Sayed gets a pass and Barack Obama is coming to Detroit to campaign for him. Michigan voters deserve the same scrutiny of him that any Republican would get. Did China just get a look inside Norway's military? During a September exercise around Oslo, Norwegian soldiers found that their Chinese-made rental cars had quietly stored camera video of who got in and out, where they drove, how long they stayed, and even the codes they typed into military gates and doors. The cars were Deepal models from Changan, a Chinese state-controlled automaker, rented through Hertz in Norway. The Home Guard confirmed the video was found, and it was deleted. Here's what bothers me. A Home Guard spokesman admitted he "could not rule out" that the data was shared with a third party, including in China. Nobody has proven it was sent anywhere, but nobody can say it wasn't either. And because there weren't enough replacement vehicles, the military kept driving those same cars until the exercise ended. Norway still says it won't ban Chinese cars. This should be a wake up call for America. Our Commerce Department has already moved to ban Chinese software in connected cars starting with the 2027 models, and to keep Chinese-controlled automakers from selling them here even if they build the cars in America. After seeing what happened in Norway, I hope we keep that wall up. A car with cameras and a constant connection back home is the last thing we need parked outside our military bases. This is what suicidal empathy get's you in real time. A progressive leftist woman tries to reason with the hooded looters tearing apart a store in France. Telling them “this isn’t the cause,” “stop it,” “what’s the point?” While they laugh and ignore her. She still doesn’t fucking get it. The people she spent years defending, excusing, and platforming don’t share her values, her restraint or her retarded illusions. Islamists and hard left extremists see her as temporary allies, useful idiots.. who help weaken the system before being discarded or targeted themselves. This is the end stage of the “well meaning” Left. You import or enable the forces that reject your entire worldview, then act shocked when they treat you like the soft, naive obstacle you are. Wake up before this is you.
When the "well meaning" Left realise what they've unleashed...

More projection and blah, blah, blah!😂 Trump has been investigated more than any one else on the planet! So what they're saying is- 'we are going to waste more time and taxpayer money if we are elected'. 🙄 Hey Warnock, WTP know the last admin was the most corrupt in history!😉 Vote red to stop the lawfare of the left! Warnock said, “Listen, Donald Trump is a crook and he’s got to go. And the people who are enabling him, they all have to be held accountable. And so we ought to have the investigations to get to the truth behind this, the most corrupt administration in American history.

She wrote to him first. That is where it begins — a letter from an American woman in New York to an Oxford don who received a great deal of post and answered most of it politely and forgot it. He answered this one too. Then he answered the next one. C.S. Lewis was in his fifties and had built a life with no room in it for this. Books, lectures, argument, tobacco. A bachelor's routine in rooms at Magdalen. He had friends and kept a careful distance from all of them. Women wrote to him constantly about their souls and he wrote back about theology. He had spent decades explaining the human heart from the outside of it, and he had every reason to believe that was the whole of what he was for. Joy Davidman was nothing he was prepared for. American. Jewish by birth, a committed communist and an atheist until her faith broke over her in one night. A published poet who had won a serious prize at twenty-four. Divorced from a difficult marriage to an alcoholic writer, with two young sons. She was blunt in a country where nobody was, and she could take Lewis's argument apart in front of him, which almost nobody could, and he liked it. Courtesy turned into correspondence. Correspondence turned into friendship. She came to England with the boys and eventually settled near him. And friendship turned into something he would not put a name to. For years he told himself and everyone else that they were companions and that was all. His brother knew better. His friends certainly knew better. She had known from the beginning. Then the Home Office refused to renew her permission to stay in the country. So he married her — at a registry office in April 1956, purely as a legal act. A technicality to keep her and the boys in England. He told himself that was all it was. He didn't tell most of his friends it had happened at all. Months later the doctors found the cancer. It was in her bones. It had spread. They did not expect her to live long. And in a hospital room, with the woman he had spent years holding at a careful distance now dying in front of him, the man who had written so well about love finally understood what he actually had. He married her again in March 1957 — at her bedside, before God, by a priest. Not for a document this time. Then something happened that nobody expected. The cancer went into remission. Her bones rebuilt. She walked out of the hospital. They got three years. Three years of travel and argument and ordinary days. They went to Greece together. She ran his house. She made him laugh in a way people who had known him thirty years had never seen. He called that stretch a feast of love, and he meant that he had been starving and hadn't known it. Then it came back. On her last night she told him he had made her happy. To the chaplain at her bedside she said she was at peace with God. She died that evening, in July 1960. The grief nearly took him apart. The great Christian apologist — the man millions read for comfort about suffering — found he had nothing. He wrote that he wasn't in danger of ceasing to believe in God, but of coming to believe something terrible about Him. So he did the only thing he had ever known how to do. He wrote it down as it happened, in old notebooks around the house, with no intention of anyone reading it. He published it under a false name because he could not put his own on it. That notebook became A Grief Observed — the least composed and most honest thing he ever wrote, and the one people hand to each other at funerals. He had spent a lifetime explaining love to other people. He was fifty-eight before he let himself have it, and he got four years 🙏♥️💔

Never forget: Ilhan Omar’s family didn’t flee Somalia as the oppressed. They fled because her father, Nur Omar Mohamed, was a senior colonel in the Somali National Army of the genocidal communist dictator Mohamed Siad Barre, the regime that systematically slaughtered up to 200,000 people, mostly Isaaq civilians, in one of the worst genocides in modern African history. Her father wasn’t some low-level nobody or a teacher who just happened to be around. He was an esteemed senior officer who commanded a regiment, trained in the Soviet Union, and stayed in the military hierarchy of that brutal Marxist-Leninist dictatorship for years. When the regime finally collapsed under the weight of its own mass murder, famine, and civil war in 1991, the family ran, not as victims of the dictatorship, but as people tied to the apparatus that had just spent years bombing cities, executing civilians, and turning northern Somalia into a killing field. Now this same family is in the US, where Omar stands up and lectures Americans about justice, accountability, morality, and “genocide.” The hypocrisy is sickening. A daughter of a colonel from the regime that carried out the Isaaq genocide has the gall to moralize to the country that took her in after her father’s side lost power. Her father came to the U.S. as a “refugee,” just like Yusuf Abdi Ali, who was accused of war crimes and later found liable for torture in a U.S. civil court. Yet, as far as publicly available information shows, her father never faced comparable scrutiny or accountability. Consider this: Ali was deported from the US only two years ago, after a survivor pursued justice through the courts. It took a survivor’s determination to bring his abuses before a judge and jury. That’s the record.

A man was unconscious at the bottom of a swimming pool, and the only person there to save him was a 12-year-old boy. But what makes this rescue almost unbelievable is that the boy learned how to save a life from watching a television show. It happened in Florida, where Austen MacMillan was swimming with his behavioral therapist, Jason Piquette. Jason had been holding his breath underwater when he suddenly lost consciousness and sank to the bottom. Austen dove down and managed to pull the grown man toward the pool steps. But when Jason slipped back underwater, the boy had to rescue him a second time. With no adults nearby, Austen ran outside screaming for help before returning to Jason, who wasn’t breathing. Remembering CPR he’d seen on the Netflix show Stranger Things, he began chest compressions until Jason regained consciousness. The incredible rescue was captured on security cameras, and Jason later said he wouldn’t be alive without Austen. The man responsible for looking after this little boy ended up having his own life saved by him. This young hero deserves some recognition.

Starlink is helping Panama stay connected after the October 9 earthquake 🇵🇦 SpaceX donated 10 Starlink stations for fixed and mobile use across affected communities, helping emergency teams coordinate relief efforts and restore critical communications where infrastructure has been damaged Starlink is also providing free internet service to customers in affected areas through November 10, along with free replacement kits for equipment damaged by the earthquake This is where Starlink becomes incredibly valuable When traditional communication infrastructure goes down, a Starlink dish, a power source, and a clear view of the sky bring connectivity back without waiting for damaged ground networks to be repaired In a disaster, that connection is a lifesaver

FLASHBACK: Obama’s IRS singled out Tea Party and other conservative groups for heightened scrutiny based on their names and political positions, delayed tax-exempt applications for years and demanded unnecessary donor information. The IRS ultimately admitted wrongdoing and apologized. Obama insisted there was “not even a smidgen of corruption.”
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

Beyond the Midterms, Border Security Must Become a Lasting Hemispheric Strategy Let’s be clear: This is not a red issue or a blue issue. As Americans approach the 2026 midterms, border security should be judged not simply by the number of crossings prevented or deportations carried out, but by whether the United States is building a durable strategy to protect its citizens, strengthen its alliances, and confront the transnational threats that increasingly cross national boundaries. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is doing exactly that. Under President Trump, he is leading a hemispheric approach centered on the Shield of the Americas, a partnership of like-minded democratic leaders across Latin America and the Caribbean focused on transnational criminal organizations. These groups traffic drugs, people, and weapons, and their power often rivals the nation-states they threaten. They do not stop at the U.S. southern border. Rubio has made clear that America’s security, prosperity, and stability are intricately tied to those of our neighbors. The stronger, safer, and more prosperous the countries of the hemisphere become, the stronger and safer the United States will be. He has worked to expand the Shield of the Americas, which now includes roughly 15 nations committed to coordinated action against cartels and narcoterrorists, while engaging partners in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and CARICOM countries to disrupt illicit flows, improve border cooperation, and reduce the conditions that drive mass migration. He has also supported stability in Venezuela after the removal of the Maduro regime so that chaos does not produce another wave of migration northward, pairing security cooperation with economic engagement so partners have real alternatives to cartel control. Rubio has stated plainly that no responsible country, whether in the Western Hemisphere or Europe, can allow its borders to remain open. Ending illegal migration has already cut off tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue to the cartels, and sustained regional cooperation aims to finish the job by dismantling their networks at the source. Domestic enforcement matters, but so does the long-term architecture of partners who intercept flows before they reach the United States, return their own nationals, and deny cartels the territory and revenue they need. That is the durable strategy Americans should demand beyond any single election cycle, and it is the one Marco Rubio is building.

Marco Rubio Is About to Make 200,000 Visa Holders Very Unhappy Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the Trump administration are preparing the largest mass visa revocation in U.S. history. Up to 200,000 people who entered the country on B-1 (business) or B-2 (tourist) visas between 2016 and 2026 and then turned around and applied for asylum are in the crosshairs. They came in claiming they were short-term visitors. Then they filed for asylum so they could stay permanently. State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott made it clear: “A visa is a privilege not a right. We are coordinating with DHS to identify and revoke the nonimmigrant visas of foreigners who have come to the United States claiming to be short-term visitors, but then file for asylum to stay here permanently. Obtaining a visa in order to seek asylum is fraud which is grounds for visa revocation.” Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau put it even more bluntly: “Asylum isn’t supposed to be a loophole to circumvent immigration laws.” This is not complicated. Tourist and business visas are issued with the clear understanding that the holder intends to return home. Using them as a backdoor to permanent residence is fraud. The administration has already revoked more than 175,000 visas. This next wave would be the biggest single action yet. America is finally enforcing the terms of the visas it issues.
